The issues continue. It remains unclear to many, obvious to some, but illustrates the continuing growing frustration in Canada. I don't know how many idols we have left in Canada but clearly, some of the previously idle are prone to action. Many more than can, would like an opportunity to work and pay for, not only tuition, but ordinary bills. The jobs are being depleted as Free Trade takes off its mask to reveal itself as the red serpent of global communism.
For some, like Chief Spence, the method of the warrior is to go on a hunger strike. It's done within the memory of Oka. About this time last year, Istvan Marton went on a hunger strike to protest marijuana prohibition - he died. Still, he remains a warrior. Canada is filled with people of passion.
This country has a spirit, you know. It's not crushed, it's confused, I'll give you that. Generations of misinformation and economic abuse can do that. My pal, Bob though - he says, "...the times are a changing."
But more to the point. If you still have an interest in trying to comprehend what's going on in Quebec regardless of whether it's going to please you or not - I have to point you out to this genuine Canadian underground comic book. I'm not saying I endorse it's content, I'm saying it has a content that needs to be comprehended to have insight. As you will.
