If they're getting big, top/fim/bend as you please.

Figured as much, now the scrog netting.......
I plan to bend and fim, and train the branches towards the trellis holes. I then will pass as many branches as I can get from fim'ing,3 dwc plants. Tying each branch down that gets a growth spurt or ahead of the rest, so as to have an even canopy of branches through the holes winking at my 600 watt.
Then I plan to shave her legs and have 12/12 come along and bam! Bud starts developing and just continue on keeping the even canopy.
Roughly said, but on the right track?

Definitely on the right track. Even canopies are easier said than done, so don't feel bad if you've got a stretcher or two mid-budding, but you'll be able to control it for the most part.

Good lookin home boy. Those are all lookin gorgeous. Amazing the DWC growth rate isn't it?

As far as those fan leaves go, leave'em on until your canopy overruns them. They will eventually become the "bottom" of the plant, especially if you're going to scrog. At this point, they will become semi-useless as no direct light will be reaching them, therefore the photosynthesis won't be taking place as it should. Don't get me wrong, they still work great as little solar panels, but when scrog'ing we focus on top colas only, (unless we have under-canopy supplemental lighting) shave everything else.

I usually give my ladies their first trimming about a week before tossing them into flowering.

Keep it up man. Can't wait to see these in bloom action. Don't wait too much longer, they're gunna be big!

Thankyou Mgee, in your opinion how do you feel about another week of vegative? I can only assume that in a week they will be double the size in canopy, then a lil trim and 12/12 my girls.
Exciting stuff to see them grow day by day, I mean look at the ones in soil, they are no where near as developed as the dwc's.
I stand strong on my decision and DWC ALL THE FUDGING WAY.

As long as you're prepared and know exactly how you're going to support these canopies, then by all means fill your tent! Another week with those three is going to do just that. By the time they finish they will be filling your tent (if you are blooming in there).

Sounds like a good plan ya got. Stick to it.

Did a trim and going to allow veg for one more week, at which time ill do another (light) trim. And send the girls in to 12/12. After trimming the plants I found that it was all simply canopy and the plants themselves are just under a foot in hieght.
I just checked them after 24/hrs and they look happy and content as ever, so i just increased humidity and gave them a misting, with the water bottle.
I sure did take off alot of leaves and thought it may hurt my girls a little, however at this point she took it like a champ.
When trimming I left a decent size fan leaf to every
(node/new growth/new branch). Since FIM I counted 11 new growth points, which may be coincedence but I think not. Now with all those leaves outta the way the lights can blast the new growth areas like I want

Trimmed and FIM'ed again because 3 days after my excessive trimming my canopy was full again. This time I trimmed and tied my branches down and out of the way.
So heres what my scissors did, looks to be a little much however the growth response is so profound I know in 3 days i'll be on my way to a full canopy.

Another issue i'm running into is their desire for water and nutes, I mean its only been 4 days and my buckets are quite low on water. So im trying to decide on a water resivoir that at the very least can hold say 2 weeks worth of water.
In a perfect world the resivor would slowly fill my dwc buckets as my plants gorge themselves on a day to day basis.
Any ideas?
