High-ranking Toronto police commanders overreacted during the G20 summit in June 2010 and assumed an “autocratic structure,” with superior officers — including police chief Bill Blair, according to one superintendent — disseminating orders to “own the streets” and take them back from the “terrorists that were attacking our city,” http://www.thestar.com/news/torontog20su...ens-report?bn=1reports can only criticize, very doubtful any cop will suffer any real consequences, they're above the law. it would be justice serviced if a class actions suit could rise from this. because hundreds had their civil liberties violated, their freedom opressed, were illegally detained, were physically injured. HARPER'S BILLION DOLLAR SECUIRTY BOONDOGLE, he and his party should be held accountable, gang-plank time for the lot!

Then last fall, disciplinary proceedings against Mauro began on two charges under the provincial Police Services Act alleging deceit and discreditable conduct. The charges stemmed from a fake letter of support Mauro wrote three years ago on his own behalf to the Thunder Bay Police Service under the name of Keith Hobbs, who at the time was president of the police union and is now mayor. http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/thunder-ba...ssociation.htmlits a tory crime because MOJ allows these bad cops to perpetuate these crimes in every city, in every province, every day. If you or I were charged with this type of offence we would not be permitted to stay home from work with full pay and benefits until an outcome decided; would not be permitted to stay in our jobs at all. And would we be charged with DECEIPT & MISCONDUCT? more likely we'd be charged with forgery, identity theft, fraud. and it would not be any quiet affair, the cops would see to it that our names were spread far and wide, use every media channel at their disposal to ensure we'd be ensconced in poverty, forever relegated to low pay, no benefits, or a step up to welfare. talk about entitlement! demoted for a year? how about dismissal???

"I come here in a non-partisan nature because I'm worried about the state of Canadian democracy under this present government," University of Ottawa law professor, Errol Mendes told the hearing today on Parliament Hill http://www.winnipegfreepress.com/canada/...-151798925.htmldissent from environmentalists, academics, human rights and charitable groups, justice officials, provincial and municipal officials and down to the very blue-hairs that were bamboozled by the bible thumpers, there's nobody left to alienate. they and their chose few have us hostage for the moment but if dissent continues to gather momentum and perhaps in intensity too, the governor general may have no choice if the judiciary declares the federal election void due to voter suppression and they petition the GG into action. lower the jolly roger, extend the gang-plank and pirates, take a number! addendum from this same article: "He started that in a minority government, using all the tricks of the trade, from manipulating committees to prorogation to you know what and, now, it's extreme ... Canadians need to know about that. It goes way beyond the budget."
Edited by kenny_canuck (05/16/12 04:40 PM) Edit Reason: addendum from this same article
