I've been looking at the Vancouver seedbank page, and the BC seedbank page, as well as a few others, but am still confused as to what the best strain is for pain control for medical marijuana purposes. I'm actually not looking to "get high", just relieve my pain, this is not about recreational drugs, but more about becoming functional once my pain is relieved. Can anyone suggest a high CBD strain that is cheap and available here in Canada?? I'm guessing I need indica rather than sativa? Thanks!

From what I read it's no longer one or the other, this has been a issue of mine also.

Do you mean that all the seeds are sative/indica cross now and not pure "one or the other"??

This is something I've given much thought, I've been highly criticised by my followers, abandoned by most. My whole marijuana experience has centered around this topic, all the people I've parted company with has stated that weed is weed, while I've stuck to my belief that strain matters, it matters, Allot! I'm actually trying a new strain, something completely different from what I know. Looking forward to reporting my feelings and thoughts on that. I'm not sure how that will workout, but I'm hoping for the best. The concept of a sativa for pain is a hard thought to process, were not talking about Theoretical physics here. But last time I checked indicas worked best for pain, hence the name kushcures. If you think about It, kind of makes sense. I guess you would say the mind is tricking the body into not feeling pain, its really confusing to say the least. In the end I guess it boils down too, what works best for YOUR pain. I'm not a doctor or anything, but if it was my job to help someone make the choice of making the right purchase. I'd say go for a kush and wait till you got money to experiment.

Nobody can tell you what works best, I've been looking for that answer for 16 years. Trial and error bro, trial and alot of error. Especially when your funds are limited, rand all you got to work with is 140$ mids.

NO I'm saying everything we've learned that Sativas are not good for pain relief is false...Read this...http://www.newsonhealthcare.com/235/ .....My suggestion is instead of trying to find just one, go with 2 am\pm...Make a tincture, they work wonders..gn

I make multi strain tinctures, I think and feel this is the best method yet. Do I rely on this method solely, NO, I also vaporize. These were the two tools I was given, I use both of them. I came to this place a very broken man, I won't bore people with the details. But long story short, I had a motorcycle accident, and a brainstem stroke... In 94, i stumbled upon the healing properties of marijuana. And basically I've been in a 16 year war with my friends, family over this very issue. Until just recently when they found out I might actually be telling the truth. That strain does matter, and it's something that a doctor needs to prescribe. That fact alone deems it as being medical, it should need no other. To know how this stuff works in the body and mind is beyond my comprehension. But back to what i was saying is, your best way around this issue, is a multi strain tincture.
