Hey Ted, everything I've read indicates cannabis plants have hundreds (~400) different cannabinoids; the articles implied these are present in all varieties - albeit in varying concentrations. Can you point me in the direction of a reference which indicates the number of cannabinoids in the 'average' strain ?

When it comes to edibles most people make them too strong to use as medicine everyday. That is why our recipes are made with moderate doses, mainly from the leaf. If you use our recipes you will not have the problem of over-dosing that many describe. That is not over-dosing in the sense of blacking out, but using more than is necessary to achieve medical efficacy.

I will try to find the study. I believe I confirmed this in a conversation with Dr Pate. It was likely a study done by Dr Russo. I was surprised when I first heard it too, but in some ways it makes sense. Each strain contains THC, CBD and CBN but apparently everything else, terpenes, flavonoids, cannabinoids are different which each strain. I will try to find the research study this week.
