Every night about two hours before I turn off my lights off for the night the top leaves always seem to drop (see photo) am I over watering it or what exactly is wrong with it?

This is a natural process if the plant droops, some strains do it some don't. As long as they look fine in the morn when the lights come on its natural, if they are not then I would look at my schedules.

What strain?

Your photo did not work.

Good Luck

Could also be a watering issue. Leaves droop when they are not watered enough or are over watered.

Bliss how often are you watering your plants? Cannabis likes a good wet/dry cycle. Let your soil or growing medium dry out completely before watering. You should be able to take your index finger stick it in the dirt up to your knuckle and it should feel bone dry before you water. If you feel moisture don't water. usually should be a watering once every week to two weeks.

I'm easily over watering it then. I have been watering it every two-three days. thanks for the help!
and I'm not 100% sure on the exact strain, but I know that it is an indica strain. most likely northern lights, but again I'm not 100% on that. I just received a bunch of seeds from one of my buddies. I could find out if that would help figure out why the leaves are doing this. I re-potted my plant about three weeks to a month ago, should I mover her into a bigger pot? I'll try and send the pictures again as well. In the morning after 8 hours of darkness the leaves seem to have sprung back up. So maybe it is a natural thing like you said it was.
Thanks again for all your help.
let 'em grow!

Learning to water properly is critical. THCpothead is correct, the plants respond best to wet/dry cycles. Just one thing: get the feel for the weight of the pots when dry - this allows you to find out if you should water or not without drilling a finger into bone dry soil, possibly damaging roots in the process.

alright, I'm just a beginner grower, but rapidly gaining knowledge daily it seems. this is my second grow and I've notice quite a difference this time around. last time my plant was over nuted and watered almost daily ;p I wondered why my leaves looked so droopy and burnt haha.. but thanks again for all this knowledge that was shared. it's much appreciated
