Yup. Don't just let it hang. If you have to, build a frame out of PVC pipe or lightweight wood of some sort and make a nice screen you can reuse.

3x3 PVC pipe in a square with holes drilled every 4" to tie the string to. Thats what a good friend of mine did. Worked great. Very sturdy - supported many buds!
