Thanks so much for posting this Nutty, I am sure you have a number of very interested people watching this thread very closely. Juicing has the potential to be a real life-saver; the fact that your gf is suffering from one of the most insidious diseases out there makes this all the more ... important (I need a better word here, just can't come up with one atm!). Frankly I am more than a little surprised at how quickly things are moving along. Not for a moment am I suggesting what you feel is the placebo affect, as there is clearly much to learn about juicing and its effects on chronic pain. So, my astonishment is a happy one A couple of questions of you don't mind: what parts of the plant are you juicing, and does this include bud ? Are you taking a measured amount every day ? Are there any side-effects at all, e.g. green pee ? Thanks once again, Cheers

DB, we are juicing both the fan leaves and popcorn. I can't find any info on juicing ahead but we are juicing enough for 3-4 days at a time and keeping it in the fridge. We are taking 30 ml. per day. After a lil more reading there are those that are saying that juicing will help with some pain management quickly.. But from a systemic point, you see that 6-8 week window. WW, we have had no getting high feeling. Di rarely smokes and doesn't care for the smoking high. Now one thing I'm sure of is a lil bit of a energy boost buzz like thing goes on.. But neither one of us feel a thc type high. As for how we are progressing. Di had a flare up yesterday while she was home and didn't take any juice with her(why I don't know). She will be here for her dosing today. I'm just juicing. Maybe I should wait till I have something.. And the butter is actually working wonders. Not much sense in apic at this point there isn't much to see. .

Glad to hear that someone else is doing the raw juicing regime. I signed up to this site cuz I saw that you were talking about juicing, and wanted to get in on the discussion and sharing of results.
I've been on it for around 4 weeks now, juicing 20-30 fan leaves daily from a specific pheno of the strain Cannatonic, with a 2:1 CBD:THC ratio, in treatment of my psoriatic arthritis.
I've been on a CBD regime the past year already, but mainly in infused coconut oil canna capsules.
This juicing regime really piqued my interest, when I originally read Dr. Courtenay's info and then saw the video on youtube, as the leaf primarily gets composted usually, and I'm definitely a proponent of whole plant therapy!
I'm making up fresh juice every morning, enough for 3-4 doses of ~125ml, and I'm adding fresh carrots, ginger, apple, and other fruits/veg that I've got around the house at the time, for a tasty healthy drink. I've got a wheatgrass juicer, so I can extract maximum from the plant.
I'm definitely noticing positive changes after 4 weeks on this regime. Happy to share specifics if people are interested.
My biggest concern is the amount of raw leaf that is required to sustain this regime for any long term capacity. I've been harvesting leaves off live plants daily. Ideally I'd prefer to do a big leaf harvest, say with a larger outdoor plant with lots of leaves and perhaps make juice freezer cubes that could be stored in the freezer and thawed as needed.
Thoughts?
