that was some great advice quoted above from enlightenment. I was thinking about it and Co2 is the one thing missing from my grow that is natural. Therefore I think I am going to add some.

Hope this helps. if ya don't believe me try it.

Hey GW, that is an interesting theory, but frankly I don't buy it. The pull of the moon clearly causes our tides, where we are talking about millions of gallons of water over a large area of the globe. I just can't see how such a weak force can be the cause of better or worse germination rates, general plant health, etc.

Do you know of any references for this ? Tried to Google it, but ended up with a bunch of 'National Enquirer' type of reports.

And I was going to ask if there is an ideal temperature since I just installed a reastat switch on a heat strip,I bought strictly for sprouting beans.

Shooting for 70-80 degrees is close to ideal.
This link suggests 75 degrees.

Thanks, don't remember ever seeing that mentioned before.
Could be I forgot,_ _have found myself many times saying"why didn't I understand that before"?

As far as that astronomy business, when I have consciusly paid attention to it,it seemed to work.Although it seems I've noticed good results when it didn't predict good results.
Believe in it or not,it ain't gonna hurt if you do.
