Many experiments have concluded that music in your grow have proven positive results! I urge any one here to conduct your own experiments and keep us posted on your results... i havent yet been able to do my own but play music when i can.

It's been shown also that music while in human fetal stage shows signs of increased cognitive function, particularly music with a mathematical overtone, ie Mozart, or Beethoven. So I see no reason why this wouldn't hold true to plants as well. I'm sure there's something about the sound vibrating the air in a mathematical way that may help with the growth of things.

The fact that animals have a central nervous system and a brain, and that plants do not, was probably something you momentarily overlooked... has to be....

I have had music in my grow room since the beginning, 20+ years. The plants grow great, but that is because of me and my skills. The music is in the back ground to keep me company.

Plants don't have ears or so I've noticed... cheeky

Peace...Buddha

You're right, they don't have ears, that doesn't mean they don't feel the vibration of said music. Show me 100% evidence that they do not and I'll retract my statement, otherwise, you're just trolling.

Vibrations are shown to have a positive effect on alot of things, why not the growth of plants?

Unless you have proof, don't mock me with "Plants don't have ears" comments... plain and simple.

I'm sorry if you took that personally Pharoah, but come on, don't accuse someone of trolling just because you do not agree with what was said.

You ask for proof ? If you do not agree/understand that animals have something plants do not have, a central nervous system, and all that implies, then any further arguments I can make will do no better to convince you Pharoah, you clearly have your mind already made up.

There has been a plethora of plant stimuli experiments over the years - afaik, none have proven what you suggest. I would love to be proven wrong.

I would have to say that the plant's are reacting to the different sound frequency's produced by the music, I don't know if there are any studies, but I'm pretty sure it would take a long time and multiple grows to show what the plants like
