My raw juicing experiences

Smokum asked me to start a new thread with my personal experience juicing RAW Cannabis, so people could follow my process and progress.
Since I'm new here, I'll tell you a bit about my situation.
I was diagnosed with Psoriasis 20 years ago, with a further dx of Psoriatic Arthritis 10 years ago. I've been on most of the heavy nasty anti-rheum drugs to try and deal with the disease, with limited effectiveness and lots of side effects.
In late 2010, I came across Dr. Courtenay's info and the original YouTube video about the power of RAW Cannabis, which piqued my interest, as the woman in the video had stated that she was free of her Rheumatoid Arthritis, which is very similar in effect to my disease, after being on the regime.
I was still living in Vancity at the time, so I was unable to procure any raw leaves. I even asked at my local dispensary, but no dice. Nobody was interested in raw juicing, or CBD for that matter. This led me to try Sativex, under the recommendation of my doctor...to see if CBD would have any effect, which it did!
Last summer I moved to a rural farm with my family, and started going through some Cannatonic seeds to find a CBD pheno...one that was at least 1:1 ratio...similar to the Sativex.
I experimented with infused coconut oil canna capsules last fall, using flowers from the CBD pheno, but I didnt start on the juicing regime until about 4 weeks ago.

I've been juicing between 20-30 large fan leaves taken from my CBD phenos each day, adding carrots, apples, ginger, and other seasonal fruits/veg for a tasty juice, that I take in 3-4 doses of about 100-125ml.
So far, I've been harvesting daily from live plants. I've never had enough leaves at once for any kind of long-term storage solution (yet).
I'm trying to see this regime more along the lines of the Dr., viewing the Cannabis more as an essential dietary suppliment, to be added daily to a healthy diet. I add the other fruits/veg to cut the bitterness of the Cannabis and also to get lots of vitamins, enzymes and other good benefits of juicing daily. (Hey, Jack Lalanne was doing something right, no?)

I've noticed profound results in the 4 weeks I've been on this regime already, both on my disease and on my overall health.
It seems to be systemically working at the root of my disease, modulating my immune system, working like a natural COX-2 inhibitor or TNF-a blocker...working on slowing the actual disease down.
The most noticeable effect of the raw juicing is the control I've got over my psoriasis right now. Its effectively eliminated my psoriasis completely within the first two weeks. I'm even noticing psoriasis-free re-growth starting in finger/toenails that have been completely ravaged by psoriatic nails over the past decade.
The control over the arthritis is pretty remarkable too, but I already knew about this having been on a CBD regime over the past year.
I find the juice more effective than the capsules I've taken in the past simply due to the fact that I can ingest much more in raw format. Also the process is a TON less of a PITA than creating capsules.

The control over the psoriasis is remarkable, as I've never been on any pharma drug that has had the double effect of working on the arthritis and the psoriasis at the same time.
Even Methotrexate, (a nasty DMARD ant-rheum chemo type drug) never was able to control both nearly as well, and with WAY more side effects for me.

I've started taking photographs at intervals so I can document the change in my fingers and toes as they improve. Its the only real externally visible sign of my disease.
Its going to take a while, as my fingers/toes have been badly damaged over the last decade.

Great to hear. I also have a juicing thread going. Ain't been at it as long as you have and just using the plant material I grow..
How many mls. does that amount of fan leaves make in raw juice??? And have you seen anything that addresses taking to much to where it's counter productive??? If you'd be so kind peep my thread and see if we are doing anything wrong. And welcome to CC.. It was your thread that inspired me to join these forums, as I have been looking for others that are on the juicing regime to connect with and share stories. I'm not sure now many ml's just the leaves are as I juice them along with other "juicy" fruits, alternating between leaves and other fruits. I dont think you're doing anything wrong at all! The only suggestions I have that could tweak your results, is juicer type and strains being juiced. I had a JackLalanne juicer before, but gave it to my neighbour when I got a Wheatgrass (masticating) juicer. These types of juicers are MUCH better for extracting from fibrous leaves with little juice content and also spin at a lower RPM so not to oxidize the juice as fast, resulting in less loss of beneficial enzymes. Also, I'm working with leaves from my own CBD-dominant strains. For my disease, CBD works better than anything I've found to date.

I've seen some people ask if there's any significant high from raw juicing regime, and I have to say from my experience, there's no high whatsoever.
I do notice an overall energy boost in the half hour after I juice, but I suspect thats simply the natural fruit sugars I'm ingesting at the same time. Its noticeable though, as I've been able to reduce my daily caffeine intake since being on this juicing regime.

And I honestly think I could ingest double the amount of daily leaves...especially during the change of seasons / winter, when my disease is at its most active. I've still been working through a flareup, but it's been very minor compared to past ones, and has been going down way faster than in previous years.
I would look into CBD rich strains if you can devote some space in your grow room. They've really been the key for managing my disease, and I suspect your wife's fibro too.
CBD Crew is a new venture by Shantibaba from Mr. nice and Jaime from Resin seeds, and I think others...they sell only CBD rich strains. It's a really new venture from what I see.
And Project CBD, a site based in California, has a running list of strains identified as high CBD that one can refer to.
