floger.....
as for the nutes, YES....they get cleaned out of the soil and you want that to happen. Too much nute and salt build up makes for shitty soil.

Let it "cure" for at least 6 months, churning and turning it every couple weeks.....when it is done, you can add your own nutes and vities.
hope that helps!

Thanks RdG. So essentialy it's just like a compost pile. But just used soil. That's so easy i'm almost embarassed. Nice. Thank you guys very much.
oh here's a quik question. Does TLO soil have to cure for that long also, or could it be used after say 3-4 months?
Keep up the great work!

we only cure it that long because we have like 600 gallons of soil that we are curing at a time, so 3-4 months is fine according to Frank.

He uses 50% dry nutes and 50% liquid nutes throughout the grow.
he adds green sand and oyster shell before he puts it to cure. So then, when ready to use it, he pulls out the total amount of soil he will need and mixes in the dry nutes. mixes and waters it well and lets it sit for a week and it is ready to use. it is at about 700 - 800 ppm
the ramaining balance of nutes are added with the liquids on every other watering.

a 10 gallon pot is dry in 4 days due to his a wesome soil mix, so he is always busy busy busy lol

Hope this helps.
