OK, here's one that's been around for a while, so if you know it, you know what to do....
Four explorers are plodding around deepest darkest Africa, when a tribe of head-hunters captures them. Pleading for their lives, the chief decides to given them a chance. He has all four buried up to their necks as follows:
O- O- O- || -O
1 2 3 WALL 4
Three prisoners are buried facing a vast wall, which they cannot see through, over or around. These guys can only see what is in front of them; the fourth guy is facing the wall as well, only from the other side.
The chief says "I have four hats: two black, two white. I will place a hat on each of your heads in such a way that you cannot see the hat your are wearing. Once they are in position, the next sound I want to hear is someone telling me the colour of his hat; any other sound and you all die. An incorrect answer, and you all die."
So, to escape certain death, someone has to figure out the colour of the hat he is wearing. There are two possible scenarios to this problem, one simple, one not so much. To correctly answer this I need both answers.

The three next to each other see the person next to them. So they know what hat they are wearing because if the other two ppeople have color. The person who sees two colors says his color first. Then the other two know theirs The dude on the other side waits to hear their answers then process of elimination that shit. Nope. Don't forget that if anything except the correct answer is spoken, they all die, so no deliberation. Also, and this just may be the way you are interpreting my poor drawing, the guys buried up to their necks are lined up one behind the other, not beside each other.
