spuddog14 Enthusiast Registered: 02/13/09 Posts: 331	if you keep them at 12/12 you are not going to like the results you will get. just my 2 cents but you want to give them at least 2 weeks to veg. most grow rooms out there will accommodate plants of this size,your plant will also develop more bud sites as well. the 12/12 light cycle is what is used to induce flowering. 18/6 or 24/0 is what most use for vegging.

And ive never had a problem. Ur right u don't produce as much due to not vegging as long. But what you lose in plant u make up for with a mom and tons of clones. And knowing which pheno from seed pack u like the best. Instead of wasting all that time vegging and ending up with a big plant of shit that isn't as good as her sister. I've grown in many ways and methods. And produce stellar buds. To mimic mother nature one must have all perameters correct, without the high lumens I think 12/12 can cause issues down the road. I would rather end up with a bunch of big badass plants, then make my choice of pheno's. I have to agree with DB, a beginner should learn the basics before trying more advanced techniques.
