The fact that you're more concerned with my impoliteness than Ted's lying sickens me. If nobody calls him on it we are all shitting on the contribution of the women that did the pioneering work that Ted takes credit for. He doesn't deny calling himself the "first Canadian Compassion club", he just refrains from making that claim. He called me a liar for pointing out he wasn't - and still hasn't said sorry or taken that accusation off his website, even though I've proved him wrong.

A movement isn't like school ... it's not an attempt to become the popular one ... it's about getting things done, and honoring those who do. Those who mistake the movement for elementary school might get "plays well with others" on their report card, but they'll get an F for every other subject.

All the people who attack me ... what the fuck do you do? What's your contribution, other than your attacks? How do you advance the cause? Where is your sacrifice? What's your plan to end the war against us?

Those who have nothing to say to that can give themselves an "F".

I would have far less issue with your ranting if you would give some credit where it is due. You cant even admit Ted has contributed. This reeks to me as bias, and it is why on this issue, you do not have much credibility with me.

The fact that you are still going on and on sickens me. Its not just about manners and being respectful.. it is because you are biased, and although you call yourself a historian, you do not seem to recognize that bias should play no part in a true historical record keeping. You are biased, for your own reasons, and NOT just on this issue.

You have never given ted respect for what he does do. Running a dispensary, running hempology, and consistantly being active and out on the street talking to people. These are worthy things. They deserve respect.

I dont need to list what I have contributed and sacrificed, those who know, know, those who dont... dont need to. I am happy in the knowledge that I have contributed, I dont need acclaimation or reward or approval.

I am a new kind of activist I suppose, one without the need to feed her ego.

Ted sells pot to sick people and refuses to make his books transparent. Big deal. Most compassion clubs open their books. Ted wants the legitimacy of a compassion club but is unwilling to provide the transparency that goes with that.

His publication and conferences seem to me to be a platform for his sketchy version of history. He lies about his role in history and viciously attacks anyone who calls him on it.

When I point out to Ted that Sativex is more than just THC and CBD, he complains that he doesn't have time to do research.

He helps Keith Martin promote "decrim" without pointing out the net-widening, "more people getting punished and going to jail" downside of it.

He wants to "open patent" cannabis medicines, refusing to admit the danger of big drug companies "closed patenting" whatever he doesn't get around to "open pantenting".

Aside from all that Ted's awesome ... but "all that" is way too much for me to ignore.

Why Hempology has a class in UVIC.

As said, words are nothing, Activism is action. The volunteer action, of Hempology members, helped to get in the FIRST GREEN PARTY, Elisabeth May. This is why freedom of speech is needed, so we can educate our members to Know , who and what they are voting for.
Just because, in one video, some have respect to clap for Keith Martin for even showing up. Doesn't mean we support him. We take it as away to educate members of Hempology, of the debate(decrim vs Legal). Hempology allowed all candidates to state there policy of Cannabis. Then we get to educate , what is best. Which is why, the Green Party has all ways got our Support. Action is better then words, so true.
