If you are not growing legally, be very very careful, and whatever you do, do NOT give anyone a joint, or it's a mandatory 6 months.

After years of both Canadians AND Americans petitioning Harper not to pass this law, he blindly ignored what fellow citizens asked for, not to mention the failure of mandatory sentences in the US to deter drug use. Why is this man so ... blind ? Heaven help us!

It's hard to see or hear anything, when your head is jammed up the president of the United States ass.

Harper is the only Prime Minister...EVER...that refused to meet with David Suzuki.

Peace...Buddha

PS. We need to keep Religion out of Politics, vote Harper out next election.

One a bill becomes law it is a very slow process to undo, especially a complex and sneaky bill like C-10 that has several bills rolled into one. It will be hard for another government to reverse the bill IMO.

I think the only hope is The Ontario Supreme Court judge that will hear Matt Mernagh's case. Just like the Ontario judge that threw out the gun case. He/She can undo the law by upholding the ruling and making it legal. If anything we should all be sending the judge letters urging him to rule in Matts favour.

If not that I think its back to "Over Grow the Government" make it so costly for them that they can't possibly enforce the law. Eventually tax payers will be sickened that were broke, the stats will show crime has risen and people will vote out the conservatives as quick as the Liberals were voted out. The NDP will take over and hopefully finally legalize and tax it!

The Conservatives didn't exactly win by a landslide, the NDP were very close. Who knows what will happen when the RCMP investigation into election fraud is complete. Hopefully another election!

Or It might be time to save up and move to Spain at least there you can grow on private land in peace!

How can you lay those accusations against Harper? I seem to recall that he leads a minority government;does that not mean that he had to have enough support from others in the majority in order to pass C-10? Oops!!! I fact checked myself and discovered that an election in 2011 gave the Conservatives a majority in the government. That you should blame Harper instead of the voters who gave the Tories the green light to enact C-10 is a better way to put things in perspective. I would not have much confidence that Liberals in Canada will change anything either. My president made a promise that he would not interfere in any state`s medical marijuana program, but he turned out to be even worse than his predecesor in that regard. We went from a big government conservative to a Czarist power hungry freak of nature as far as I`m concerned who takes every opportunity he can to dictate on matters he has no legal authorization to stick his nose into. And as for C-10, it`s not just about marijuana either. Governments enact all manner of nasty shit in order to get other stuff the public deems important. Looks to me like it`s time to lay low, keep your nose clean and avoid close ties with people with lengthy criminal records for drug convictions; especially the ones who get consistently wrist slapped. They offer an agreement to plead guilty in return for a promise of some benefit.

HOW CAN WE FIGHT THIS MONSTROUS BILL?!?! The whole world, including former United Nations head, Kofi Annan is pleading Harper to rethink the bill, so is Swiss President and many other world leaders.

I'm... really.. at end's wit with Stephen fucking Harper.

A Canada run by Harper is an embarrassment to Canada.
