Monday, March 26, 2012 "Medieval Warm Period" wasnt just confined to Europe. Current theories of the causes and impact of global warming have been thrown into question by a new study which shows that during medieval times the whole of the planet heated up. It then cooled down naturally and there was even a "mini ice age". A team of scientists led by geochemist Zunli Lu from Syracuse University in New York state, has found that contrary to the "consensus", the "Medieval Warm Period" approximately 500 to 1,000 years ago wasn't just confined to Europe. In fact, it extended all the way down to Antarctica – which means that the Earth has already experience global warming without the aid of human CO2 emissions. "We showed that the Northern European climate events influenced climate conditions in Antarctica," Lu says. ‘More importantly, we are extremely happy to figure out how to get a climate signal out of this peculiar mineral. A new proxy is always welcome when studying past climate changes.' http://www.drudge.com/news/155007/medieval-warm-period-wasnt-just-confined

The Drudge report? I think the Onion is more accurate: Research by the media magazine Brill's Content in 1998 cast doubt on the accuracy of the majority of the 'exclusives' claimed by the Drudge Report. Of the 51 stories claimed as exclusives from January to September 1998, the magazine found 31 (61%) were actually exclusive stories. Of those, 32% were untrue, 36% were true and the remaining 32% were of debatable accuracy.[20] http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Drudge_Report#Exclusives7 Notable stories 7.1 Monica Lewinsky scandal 7.2 Swift Boat Veterans for Truth 7.3 Obama photo 7.4 Prince Harry in Afghanistan 7.5 U.S. Senate Problems 8 Controversial stories, errors and questions about sourcing 8.1 Exclusives 8.2 Sidney Blumenthal lawsuit 8.3 Alleged John Kerry intern scandal 8.4 Alleged Bill Clinton illegitimate child 8.5 Alleged CNN reporter heckling of Republican Senators 8.6 Oprah and Sarah Palin 8.7 Ashley Todd attack hoax http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Drudge_ReportNothing you have ever posted - including the latest from this rightwing gossip blogger called "Drudge" - has come even close to the logic contained in this short video ... which could be titled "climate change risk assessment for dummies": http://videosift.com/video/How-it-all-ends
