Well, your gonna need some type of ph pen.. I guess you can tread lightly with the nutes and get by.. I would imagine you are gonna be using tap water also???

Actually I got a cheap faucet filter at WM. And I'll definitely get some kind of pH meter before I start. Essential. As it is still waiting on seeds and equipment. Waiting, waiting...

may need it. pH tested the "filtered" water today and it matched my tap water. even the EC/ppm was the same.

Well the last machine was the best as far as weight I have ever done, and personally I feel the quality matched some of the best I've done..

My yield was .8225 grams per watt...

The next one is a lil ways off and I think I'm gonna beat that yield from the looks of things right now... Well, as long as I don't fuck it up...

To me Nut is correct, meters and a cooler on your res is critical for hydro.

TDS and PPM to me are the 2 you should try to get asap. Cheap,cheap now, $25. on ebay get you through your first crop.

I still do not run a cooler but I live in an area where its colder than warmer.
