(1968) Pretty Poison

Pretty Poison (1968) is a thriller film directed by Noel Black, starring Anthony Perkins and Tuesday Weld, about an ex-convict and high school cheerleader who commit a series of crimes.

While not generally considered an example of neo-noir, the film does include certain elements of the genre, including a femme fatale, a character trapped into circumstances beyond his control, criminal protagonists and, of course, murder.

The film was based on the novel She Let Him Continue by Stephen Geller; this was also the working title of the film.

There was a 1996 remake with the same title and plot.Source

Looks like LSD content?

(1971) Marijuana - The New Prohibition

In this comprehensive review of research and legal papers relating to marijuana, Stanford Law Professor Kaplan has exhaustively gone over almost all of the various arguments involved in the debates about this drug. A review of the chapter headings gives an indication of the comprehensiveness of his examination. They are (1) marijuana as a symbol, (2) the cost of the marijuana laws, (3) the "ordinary" effects of marijuana, (4) marijuana and aggression, (5) the dangers of marijuana use. Source

For those who doesn't understand the french language, he makes a few references to hashish.

(1971) The Panic in Needle Park

This movie revolves mostly around heroin. There is some cannabis content. Though most heroin users also likely use cannabis on occasion, I wonder if its inclusion in this film is to associate cannabis with harder drugs.

Nixon declared his war on drugs in June 1971, and this film was released in July 1971. I make no claims of causal relation, though I do hold a belief that Hollywood is used as a propaganda machine.

Robert Charlebois' Trip to California in 1968
(1974) Robert Charlebois - California

Sorry to the non-francos, the first clip discusses Robert Charlebois' trip to California in 1968. Upon his return he introduced his friends to psychedelia, and released the Quebec Love album in 1969. California is a track off the (1974) Lindberg album filled with psychedelic imagery. He has also collaborated with the legendary Frank Zappa: Frank Zappa and Robert Charlebois - Petroleum

In 2008, he was made an Officer of the National Order of Quebec.Source

(1967) Riot on Sunset Strip - Mimsy Farmer's Trip

The choice of jazz in the background seems somewhat unusual for the era.

Riot on Sunset Strip is a 1967 low-budget exploitation movie, released by American International Pictures, and filmed and released within six weeks of the actual late-1966 Sunset Strip curfew riots.

The movie starred Frank Alesia, Aldo Ray, Mimsy Farmer, Michael Evans, Anna Strasberg and Tim Rooney, and featured musical appearances by The Standells and The Chocolate Watch Band.

Along with the attempt to capture the essence of the period around the Sunset Strip riot, a subplot of the movie revolves around a young girl (Farmer)'s troubled relationship with her divorced parents (Ray and Hortense Petra). Her dosage with LSD by a would-be seductor, the subsequent 'acid trip' she experiences, and her later discovery by Ray (a police sergeant) as the victim of gang rape, are among the movie's peak moments.Source

I just want to correct a factual error. Robert Charlebois' very psychedelic Lindberg album was released in 1968, not in 1974 as Wikipedia.org has lead me to believe. Thus after his trip to California in 1968 he release Lindberg in 1968 and Quebec Love in 1969.
