if you have live organics, they might have source of food to remain throughout your grow.

also after using the mosquito dunks, for two weeks of feeding, I've maybe seen 1-2 fungus knats and was able to kill one. what I've been doing is just leaving a quarter, of the dunk in each of my 5 gallon buckets and I would dip the hole smart pot, right in and let it get saturated.

Hypoaspis miles also wipe them out.

Going to have to grab me a bottle of Tanlin to keep on hand. Pretty expensive at 60+ dollars for a bottle but if it saves a crop, it's worth it's weight in gold.

I had heard somewhere (Ask Ed column maybe?) about marbles/glass beads over the top of soil, like 1/2-1"? Would that work in deterring fungus gnats?
