As for the topic on hand, the term with which is used to reference Cannabis does play a vital role in the context with which it's perceived.

Even when Talking to my Psychiatrist (who I told I use Cannabis) if she refers to it as "Grass" or "Weed" or "Pot" even to me, it triggers something in my brain that sends out an uncomfortable feeling.

This holds even more true for those who do not use, but are for it for those it helps, and even MORE true for those who don't smoke, and are against it.
