PBS already aired Breitbart’s Obama footage

Breitbart.com editors Ben Shapiro and Joel Pollak said Wednesday on Sean Hannity’s radio show that they would release footage that proved President Barack Obama had “radical intellectual founders” — footage which was covered up by the mainstream media.

But before Breitbart.com released the footage, PBS Frontline published the full unedited video themselves, noting that they had previously included the footage in their election special The Choice 2008.

Wisconsin’s ‘Defeat the Recall’ campaign largely funded by out-of-state donors

An email circulated Wednesday by a super PAC trying to drum up support for Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker (R) seems to have accidentially revealed that the “Defeat the Recall” campaign is being primarilly funded by individuals who do not live in Wisconsin.

The “Defeat the Recall” email Wednesday focused on a ruling issued this week by Judge David Flanagan, which temporarily bars enforcement of a voter identification law passed last year by the state’s Republicans. The law requires voters to present a state-issued photo ID when they cast ballots in federal, state and local elections. Other photo IDs, such as technical college and veteran ID cards, cannot be used.

Similar efforts have been carried out in other Republican-dominated states and Democrats almost always cry foul, claiming Republicans are attempting to drive down turnout. Voter identification requirements have been empirically shown to mostly affect the poor, minorities, students and the elderly, because those groups are most likely to not carry state issued photo identifications. Those groups are also most likely to vote for Democrats.

U.S. Army among 141 groups pulling ads from Limbaugh

In all, 141 advertisers have left Limbaugh’s show so far, but just 50 were known before the memo surfaced. It shows that 91 additional companies have ditched not just Limbaugh, but right-wing radio talkers altogether, including Limbaugh acolytes Glenn Beck, Sean Hannity and Michael Savage. Limbaugh is often cited as the unofficial voice of the Republican Party.

Like i always say with these Folks..
The Ends always justify the means..

CREW asks IRS to investigate Americans for Tax Reform

CREW found that ATR spent more than $4.2 million on ads in 2010, which urged people to vote against a number of Democratic representatives. The independent expenditures were reported to the Federal Election Commission. But on its tax return, ATR claimed it spent only $1.85 million on political activities.

Tax-exempt organizations like ATR are required to disclose the amount they spend on political activities to determine whether they are complying with their tax-exempt status.

“Grover Norquist’s numbers just don’t add up,” said CREW Executive Director Melanie Sloan. “Americans for Tax Reform spent millions of dollars in 2010 trying to defeat candidates who disagreed with its agenda, then left most of that spending off its own tax return. Perhaps Mr. Norquist should sign a pledge that he won’t lie to the IRS about his group’s political activity.”

Santorum: Obama ‘exposing children’ to risk from porn

On Sunday, CNN’s Candy Crowley asked Santorum if he honestly believed the Department of Justice favored pornographers over children.

“The proof is in the prosecution,” Santorum replied. “Under the Bush administration, pornographers were prosecuted much more vigorously than they are under existing law than they are under the Obama administration. So, you draw your conclusion.”

“My conclusion is they have not put a priority on investigating these cases. And in doing so, they are exposing children to a tremendous amount of harm. And that to me says they are putting the unenforcement of this law and putting children at risk as a result of that.”

Tim, I understand the frustrations, but one can't really equate the ravings of someone like Santorum with the general beliefs of the GOP, or even of Born Again Christians. Common threads can be found, but one of the problems with politics is the use of verbal imagery pertaining to a small segment in damning an entire political Party. There's plenty of dirt under everyone's rugs to really heat up the rumour mill, but does that actually help?

Personally, I think that Obama has an easier time with Santorum as an opponent, and it appears this could go down to the wire for the GOP. I would note that the people of PA voted him out of the Senate, after a short stint. His voting record, meanwhile, was in lock step with Party leadership, which he's now had to explain.

But a lot can hoppen before November, and most of that is beyond anyones direct control.

But in all the postings, do you believe that anyone has actually been swayed one way or the other in this back and forth. In broadcasting you learn that a car commercial is only really heard by those who are thinking of buying a car, and everyone else tunes out and ignores it. The same tends to be true in politics, and that prevents a good debate or discussion from taking place (IMO). There are few here actually looking to be convinced of anything, so this becomes a finger-pointing shouting match.

Well as I have said here...
This is my frustration with those who call themselves conservative in Government today...
My Family have been so called Conservatives for most of my life too..
All live to watch Fox and believe every word to be the truth forsaking all others...
Since before Bush got elected or should I say given the Presidency..
You are with them or you are the Enemy...
So way back when??? I started this Thread because There was no debating theses People..
So yes, this thread was started because I was frustrated...
Its my way of spouting what I perceive as the real facts..
With Links to back me so its not my imagination..
Intelligent Debate is welcome here..
But when you have no facts to back a argument or back a position with comments with Fox News?? I will call you out on it every time..
As I always say.. It always comes out in the Wash...
For most of my Voting life... I have been in the Middle of the road.. But since Bush and Chaney, I have been pushed so far left and just about out of site.. Been persecuted and ridiculed for it for a few years now..
I believe in a Free America for all.. Not the Chosen Few..
Is that so un American as to call me and so many other like me the Enemy to America????
I think not...
So because I am so disabled, the only tool left to me is spouting off here..
This thread is still going strong even with no responses..
Somebody is reading this thread everyday of the Week...
So some People are interested.. AS long as this keeps up.. I will keep posting here...

A Republican candidate for governor in Montana also turns out to be an expert on “illicit pleasures” like gambling, drugs and prostitution.
