some men achieve a life that lives on after breath.jack has done this.his last stand was unprecedented.im sure he will live long and proud through canadian history. goodbye jack, safe journey.

He inspired many to be better Canadians. His dream still lives on. New leadership will emerge from the seeds he sowed. Let us be stronger and more political in finding ways to remove the CONs from power.

His (wonderful) views on pot aside, Jack Layton is going to be sorely missed. He was an amazing leader, both kind and compassionate, down to earth and relatable, but still incredibly strong-willed when it came to what he believed in. I'm so glad that he got to bring the NDP to new highs, though I'm sorely disappointed that I'll never get to see my dream of him becoming our great country's leader. RIP, Jack.
