The union representing engineers and other professionals at AECL said the deal will chop about 40 per cent of the division’s staff, most working at AECL’s Sheridan Park labs and offices in Mississauga. http://www.thestar.com/business/article/...ion-leader?bn=1slash and burn, the pirate way: 800 high paying jobs, 800 specialized workforce will likely have to leave the country to continue to work in their field. how can tory supporters support such narrow vision?

The accusations of improper lobbying were the most recent in a string of controversies surrounding Jaffer, who pleaded guilty to a careless driving charge related to a 2009 incident and was fined $500. He was charged initially with cocaine possession and drunk driving, but the Crown later withdrew those charges.
