Note: Some of you have written to complain that although a candidate did show up at an event, he/she was tightly scripted and appeared to have 'set up' questions planted in the audience to allow him/her to get specific points across. I'm unable to verify this without having attended such events myself, but I agree that it's troubling, if true. http://www.cbc.ca/news/politics/inside-p...one-before.htmlX-OUT HARPER AT THE POLLS TROUNCE THE TORIES

A major focus of the Ryerson vote mob was not only encouraging people to vote with “honk if you’re voting signs” and catchy chants but to engage people outside of our educational circle in discussions about making informed decisions at the polls. Agreeing with a specific party’s values and priorities is one thing but critically analyzing each platform was a message we wanted to share we everyone. http://www.thestar.com/news/canada/polit...das-square?bn=1this old fucker owes every youngster reading a huge apology! I never thought you had it in you to fight back with your rightful weapon: the ballot. I've been ranting that we've got our youngsters to blame for the mess cannabis is in because they would not step up, take aim and fire back at tyranny! finally we can move forward, a new paradigm. A Lethbridge man who posted a video on YouTube showing a campaigning Conservative too busy to answer questions, says he is frustrated he can't speak to the candidate who will most likely represent his riding in Ottawa. http://www.cbc.ca/news/politics/story/2011/04/29/calgary-lethbridge-jim-hillyer-youtube.htmlhe's not too busy he's been muzzled. Three weeks ago, Ford told reporters he would not endorse “any leader or any party,” with the exception of Whitby-Oshawa MP Jim Flaherty, a close family friend who, as Conservative finance minister, endorsed Ford for mayor. http://www.thestar.com/news/canada/polit...l-election?bn=1now he's quivering watching Jack surfing a Giant Orange Wave X-OUT HARPER AT THE POLLS TROUNCE THE TORIES

The Conservative government's own expert on Tamil extremism is raising concerns about a Toronto Tory candidate, claming he has worked for two television stations that telecast "propaganda" for the Tamil Tigers. http://www.cbc.ca/news/politics/canadavotes2011/story/2011/04/29/cv-election-paranchothy.htmlthey will stoop lower yet. and they will stop at nothing in their desperate attempt to secure their pirate strangle hold on our democracy. His refusal to answer the question Saturday raises fundamental questions about whether Harper might provoke a constitutional crisis in the wake of an election. Read more: http://www.montrealgazette.com/news/deci...l#ixzz1L1wQYAM3scary thought that captain blah could wrest his way by inventing crisis then invoking Emergencies Act ala War Measures Act! are we sure we still have a handle on our democracy here? The CBC's Terry Milewski faced supporters' boos when he attempted to ask Harper the question again. http://www.cbc.ca/news/politics/canadavotes2011/story/2011/04/30/cv-election-saturday-campaign.htmlHappy Birthday Captain Blah, today you're 52 now give us back our canada you've nearly trashed her so now you're through.
