I grew the same strain with and without bud candy and there is a noticable difference in the aroma of the buds.
The buds also seem to be almost oily when trimming.just my 2 cents worth.

Were you using recommended amt'? What medium?? The whole grow?? If you don't mind??

I used it at close to 60%
I try to keep the ratios the same as the AN nute calculator.
So 2 parts A 2 parts B 1 part adds
week 1 through 3 was 1 cup A 1 cup B 1/2 cup Big Bud 1/2 cup Bud Candy to a 30 gal res.
week 3 through 7 I switch out the Big Bud for B52
2 To 3 week flush this strain takes like 10 weeks to finish

have you ever noticed the sort of gaseous smell when you trim your harvest
That gas almost made me sick it was so strong

Are you talkin about a sort of sulphur type smell?

more like ether or oil its hard to describe
like fermentation fumes

I use the entire AN line, and can't say I have ever had that issue.
I do get an eggy sulphur like smell at my root level, but I assume thats just beneficial microbes doing their thing from the piranah and the tarantula.

Cannaman707 on youtube said the same thing and you might have even seen the video last week he posted. The smell was not as noticable but the taste was indeed stronger.

i only smelled it when i was trimming the buds and had a whole bin of buds in my lap
