Supercropped My NL5's were getting too close to the light. I crushed, twisted and bent the mainstem about 30 days into flowering. The first pic is a direct shot, the second is from the oblique.   From the bend to the growing tip of the bud is about a cubit. Plants recovered in no time and adjusted to their new position over night. I have a rope going around the perimeter which provide support to the tops. On another plant (not pictured) the stem snapped a little too much for my taste so I went ahead and taped it up with first aid tape (porous, flexible, and not too sticky.) sorry for the cruddy pics.
