www.plasma-i.com This site has these lights and they are around $6500 US. I am very interested in bringing these lights in our grow shop. I have read many research articles about these lights and am very pumped. I wish I had the extra 7k in the bank to buy one but I already spent plenty of money on 1000 watt HID "heaters" If you attain one of these lights please enlighten us all on them. I cant wait to see this baby burning in your room.

This technology is not new..
I have worked on such Lamps..
It is in a cage because the lamp body is energized by Microwaves inside.. No electrode needed...
I have a mercury Lamp I made way back that when you put it into a Microwave oven.. It lights my entire Kitchen with U.V. light...
Creates so much Ozone in seconds that it sends you running for fresh air..

This Tesla Grow Light is going to cost some Change..
I cannot say for sure what Wave lengths or intensities it puts out..
But if it can re create the entire Sun Spectrum and be very close to the very same gain in all color lines.. It should work Great...

Again... This ain't your average lamp or power supply..
Also this may create much Ozone around the lamp area if low enough wavelength U.V light is present.. ionizes the air around the lamp..

My personal opinion is to stick with the switchable supplies and both MH and HPS in combination or together in a Dual Arc Lamp...
I use a Dual arc and believe it to be the very best for both Veg and Bloom..

Dual Arc lamps are simply a HPS and a MH combine in one..
This lamp covers both color spectrums (Blue and Red)..

Its a great one if you don't like to change lamps out..
This can be used for both Veg and Bloom...

Limits are that a 1K lamp only has a 600 watt HPS..
While the MH is a 400 watt..

In other words you use a 1K MH and you get 1000 watts of Blue or using the HPS 1K, you get 1K of Red..

I have used Dual Arc for Stains that don't stretch to much and need more...
I use a MH for Strains like Sativa's as they tend to grow long, tall. and linky.. This makes them quit a bit more bushy, and not near as tall instead... More Bud sites in a shorter plant..
This works very well with the right nutrients added...

This is a very interesting grow off between a 600W HID light and 180W Sulphur Plasma Lamp.

His plasma lamps are made by Gavita [lumatek made the ballast], and are available in Holland. I found that intriguing. I hadn't realized Lumatek was on the band wagon.

You'll notice that considering the variance in electricity used, the harvest is still quite good.
