Sulfur Plasma VS. HID

Some of you may have heard of this, some not. I want to bring a little more attention to this type of lighting for horticultural use.myself
I have been attempting to purchase one of these for quite sometime but it proves difficult to access a proper sulfur plasma lighting system geared for horticultural use.
Stay tuned, one of these fuckers are going in my growroom soon, and I plan on performing a few comparisons myself.

Krimzon, I am always interested in any knew lighting technology and have read up on these a bit in the past but just enough to be dangerous.

I am looking forward to hearing if anyone is already using these and if so, how they work, ect, ect.

I sticky pasted this so that it will stay up top in hopes that it will get well read and added unto.

No doubt its next to impossible to find one. When you do and run a test you might be on the forefront of a new age

It says it emits less U.V. radiation than other lamps which could affect the resin production as being lower and the thc content to be less right>?

Hey hey

Solar plasma lights aren't a wave of the future, they are actually the past and have failed. You should read up on them from the original manufacturers.
They were made back in the 90's for their ability to make very similar types of radiation of the sun. But in order to do this, they used microwaves to heat a plasma source to emit light.
Yes microwaves are a form of radiation. To quickly heat up the source which created light.
They emit huge amounts of RF waves and are easily detectable by any law enforcement authority. That's why they are mostly used in military warehouses and pretty much only there. The biggest problem I read on them was, they can burn out rapidly with poor quality power sources and finding a bulb to replace it, is now really hard and rediciously expensive to do so.

Personally from my studies, they are only just a little more effeicent then a 600W digital hps ballast. Considering the dangerous of them, I'd rather buy a digital ballast running on 240 Volt and get safer and similiar results. Not to mention it's like 1/5 of the price of plasma junk.

Your correct in the failure. But this was mostly due to lack of exposure and funding.
These lamps are used widely around the world and LG has now hopped on board.
You'll see these sooner then later.
I expect many people to disregard this because people fear new things it seems. [use the LED thread as an example]
LED has been around a long time. Only recently is it being harnessed for growing and actually working.
Also, these Sulfur Plasma lights are FAR stronger then a 600W MH or HPS at the least. There are variable wattage ballasts, and you can also dim these.
What was not so hot back in 95 is gaining much momentum, so don't disregard these yet just because your literature isn't updated.
By the way, they are used all over the globe, and mainly in
Europe in many public facilities, including horticultural uses.
And microwave radiation is contained and meets any code.
Regardless, keep your eyes open for these things. They are finally coming down the wire, and I've had many discussions with many manufactures.
The main issue is lack of funding in a lot of places.

LG will remedy this.

Perhaps on the resin production, but each resin gland that is produced will still hold that genetics THC consistency.

if I cared enough I would go and find all the research I found before, just to prove how wrong you are. But really.. I don't give a shit about it. Believe what you like, but you should get yourself updated and look in new LED technology, its more powerful and efficent.

Read this shit eater.

I know more about lighting technology then you are aware of, so shut the fuck up. You clearly know fuck all, and it was made clear by this sentence...

If you have absolutely nothing productive to say then go elsewhere.
My apologies to everyone else for the outburst, but I tire of the morons who come here to stir shit up.
