Well, if you are gonna start fresh. Go with a clean tub but thoroughly rinsed, because I'm not totally convinced it's not a little cleaning agent left behind. Don't worry about more air, what you have should be sufficient. I would, however, do like LabRat said and drill some holes under the handles of your tubs for the airhose to go through. This will prevent the airtube getting pinched off and keep you from having a crack in the lid for light to pass through. Make absolutely sure the tubs are as light proof as possible. Discontinue the use of the foggers. And I personally would discontinue the use of the physan 20, for simplicity sake. The product obviously isnt working on whatever is killing your roots so why not take it out of the loop as a suspect? K.I.S.S.

Sound advice... I personally think it may be the foggers, not that I've ever tried em'.

OK fellas....physan has seen it's last hurrah.....foggers are out. Yes indeed it takes 280w to run this air pump. 5/8" outlet reduced down to 3/8" fuel line, so pinches are not an issue. I will make the tub entry more light proof. I agree that the roots are not transporting the nutes, it is not lockout or a single deficiency, it is straight up starving. I think the main culprit is the roots all clumped together in a central mass. Haven't figured out why or how to stop it. This is the issue as far as the plants health. The cause is what I'm seeking. HAPPY FESTIVUS to all and thank you for your intelligent responses.

Tote was drained and wiped down with 91% iso. Filled with UV sterilized RO, moved air pump to a cold location. Going to cycle through a day checking temps before adding nutes. Air is running with a light proof lid. Drilled a hole under the handle as advised for air line. Start from ground zero. Some residual physan must be in the RO rez because it went a little foamy with some precipitate on the foam. Going to seak out some h2o2 in the next few days. Oh yea my day temps are 77-80 F and nights are 65F with a top of 51%RH.

Excellent, I feel optimistic about this run. Conditions sound fine. I would however like to know what your rez temps are during the hottest part of your cycle. Also, could you check your ppm before adding any nutes? And if you are gonna add h2o2 I would recommend going with an extremely light dose unless you start having issues, since to much also causes problems.

The numbers are in...64F high, 62F low. Good news. Outdoor temps around 30F, so when outdoor temps rise might need some ice. Will be chilled for summer, just not there yet. Have frozen 2L ready. 22 ppm currently. Environment seems good to me, but what do I know. The next decision is what to plant. Available to use today we have...1)new (strain A) out of veg...grown in a drip system ,net pot with hydroton. Sound good except they are an experiment in high ppm veg. So right now @ 1200ppm. Showing some (N) excess.
2) (A) already in flower and doing poorly, net pots with perlite.
3) (strain B) same as option 2 but different strain. So those are the choices. Not gonna risk anything truely healthy yet....gun shy I guess. Plus we won't have clones available for another week or so. I guess that's option 4. There will be pics of the choices soon. Only found 3% h2o2. Might travel out of town this week.

The gnomes have been in the flower again...a 2 week old fan that won't blow 1 speed. Works fine unless you want a medium breeze. And coincidentally my parents gave me a norwegian gnome for x-mas. I said " are you kidding me...a gnome invited into my house?" But then I thought maybe a gnome from norway can either scare away or befriend these damn american gnomes. So...with fingers crossed...the lord of the mountain gnome
