nice guys. i have a little set for painting. it has little jars, like you would buy a dub in, that line each side. 16 jars total i think. they all fit into a plastic holder that has a area to mix the paint in the middle. i just keep it up high on a shelf in my supply room. its dark in there 95% of the time. i have four filled at this point. so yeah oldtree, i have some catchin up to do.

and shoot, i thought the same thing as grow wizard. do you really eat all those altoids, man?

@xbox- most of the users on here are from medically legal states, or canada. not a big deal really if your paperwork is good. and in canada, i hear they don't really care too much.

I have often read that the seeds should be kept at cool temperatures. Anybody have the ideal temps to store for longer storage times?

We live in a very arid area and we kept ours in a pill dispenser for like 10 years, and we planted a few last year and got a strain that is KICKIN"!!!! We named her Twin Peaks...

I guess it depends on where you live, we kept them in a dark drawer and dry....and they work just fine!

wow that is very legitimate. Do you know of any benefits of keeping them in a humidor like that. i assume they would stay viable longer with that sort of regulation, have you noticed any difference?

For seed storage I keep mine in a fireproof lock box inside of my fireproof safe. The seeds are individually packaged and labeled, some in glass vials some in plastic bags. The most important storage techniques are very simple. No light, no excess moisture and no temps above 78 degrees. The colder the better, some freeze seeds but I don't. Just keep them in a consistent environment until ready to pop.

so i was looking at this again; decided to zoom my screen in to about 400% to check out the labels on Old Trees tins. Im scrolling around looking and looking, then i got to the Amazon and saw your little drawing. maybe its because im high but it made me lol and spit cereal on my keyboard. thanks

i keep all my seeds in a mason jar in the refrigerator. this seems to work the best for me. iv had very few seeds not pop.

Has anyone actually frozen seeds, then popped a few years later ? If so, how was the recovery rate ?
