Okay - so what does that look like on my ballot, in your estimation.

Which candidate is choice A and which is B, pray-tell?

Edit Reason: And for the record, the right TO vote also equates to the right NOT to. I never said I wasn't voting, BTW - I said I wasn't going to vote for someone undeserving. In other words, both the Dems and Repubs are ass-out while I'm marking my ballot.

I'm not taking my ball and going home, I'm going next door. Yes I know we don't have enough people to play but we're not really getting to play now. The big kids are not letting us bat or really play as They make their rules. We're gonna be playing catch next door. When enough people get tired of the cheating by the big kids, the ball game can start here and the big kids will know if they want to play it will be by rules everyone agrees to. For the middle class there is NO real difference in the Obama team and the Rommey team neither big kid cares if they are being fair. If we play by their rules we can never win. Think Obama did us right? Why then the biggest push against M/M ever. I'll bein the yard next door trying to get a fair game going. When you figure out you are NOT really playing where you are so you can never win come on over and help us start a real game. P.S. I think throwing my vote away, is voting for the guy who lies to me about getting to bat "this time" because the other guy won't let us bat. WAITTING NEXT DOOR!

Stewart calls out ‘Mr. Clean impersonator’ Rick Scott for voter purging

Jon Stewart delighted in poking fun at Florida Governor Rick Scott’s controversial voter purging campaign Tuesday evening, calling him a “Mr. Clean impersonator” and the former lead singer of the Australian rock group Midnight Oil.

Scott’s voter purge was meant to take non-citizens off the voting roll, but revealed that many eligible Democratic and minority voters were the most targeted. “People who live in fear of deportation, yet insist on voting,” Stewart said. “There must be ten of those.”

This is for you WW:

Warren: Americans ‘understand the game is rigged’

Speaking to MSNBC host Chris Matthews on Wednesday evening, Massachusetts Senate candidate Elizabeth Warren (D) said that in her time on the campaign trail, she’s realized that most Americans “understand the game is rigged,” and that “they’re ready for somebody to get out there and talk to them about it.”

“They blew up a big bubble, they took out the risk, they sucked out the profits, and then when the whole thing came crashing down it was American families, right there, who took it right on the chin,” Warren added. “Then that same group on Wall Street fought against any kind of financial reform. When they lost that, barely by a hair, they started a guerilla war to make sure that no serious rules would be put in place. This is the fight, right now, for the heart and soul of our country.”

The Rep.s fought those rules and the Dem.s backed the Rep.s up. Screw them all vote everyone out of office.

Thanks, Tim:

I've understood the game is rigged for a good long while now; the financial "crisis" did nothing but reinforce that for me.

However, this most recent "crisis" is the same one brewing for decades; the same one causing "recessions" every 10 years or so - the same one popping up again and again REGARDLESS of who's in office.

There are no simple answers or quick fixes; some reforms are needed, some regulation is needed, some easing of some regulations and reversals of some reforms are needed as well.

It seems to me, Dems and Repubs are so busy finger-pointing and trying so hard to move themselves to the opposite end of the spectrum from one another (i.e., Dems will "TAX us to death in order to fund dead-beats and bailouts," while Repubs will "DEREGULATE us all to oblivion in order to let big business destroy this country") they actually accomplish NOTHING more than mudslinging.

I'm over it. I realize a return to the Constitution and a balance between rights and responsibilities is where the nation needs to be to succeed. ANYONE acting out of line with this will not get my vote, no matter what party they belong to, regardless of whether that means a win for the "other guy" because I select an outsider/longshot/underdog, or "waste my vote," as you might put it.

I'm determined to stick to my principles in the voting booth. I'm not at all interested in playing partisan politics; I'd rather say I maintained my integrity than jump up and down over "winning" a bogus game of strategy.

That's what I been saying doesn't matter if it's Dem. or Rep. we get screwed, so I'm voting not for who does me the least harm if he wins, but for who I like no matter who wins.

Stewart: Republicans huge hypocrites on immigration

Tuesday night on “The Daily Show,” host Jon Stewart took on the overwhelmingly negative reaction on the part of Republicans to President Barack Obama’s Friday immigration reform announcement.
