Romney incorrectly insists marijuana is a ‘gateway drug’

Presumptive Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney on Wednesday lashed out at a reporter in Colorado who asked him tough questions about same sex marriage, immigration and marijuana.

“Aren’t there issues of significance that you’d like to talk about?” Romney quipped to CBS 4 reporter Shaun Boyd. “The economy — the economy — the economy, the growth of jobs, the need to put people back to work. The challenges of Iran. We’ve got enormous issues that we face. But, go ahead. You want to talk about medical marijuana.”

And there is only one Repuke that stood up for the MMJ Movement..
ONE..
Ron Paul...
Remember that McCain had the very same attitude as Romney..
Repukes back Law Enforcement and Military expansion and have always stood in the way of Cannabis Legalization...
Hell it goes way back to Nixon..
The GOP always falls inline all the time against any form of legalization Period..

Fact is Obama may have shot himself in the Foot with what he pulled here in California..
It has put Cannabis right out there Politically and turned many over to stand for Legalization..

Fact is any Repuke in the Presidency will make sure We never get this issue overturned..

Obama did show his hand in California..
Its a Odd one as hardly anyone was arrested..
Yes all those Dispensaries closed by the Feds but very few arrests... In fact Patients and their small grows have been left alone.. Local Cities are taking up where they left off and still fighting to keep access out..

House GOP Defense Bill Calls For Billions More In Defense Spending Than Obama Plan

WASHINGTON — In an election-year challenge to President Barack Obama, House Republicans are pressing ahead with a defense budget that adds billions of dollars, boosts nuclear weapons programs and slows cost-cutting reductions in the force as the military emerges from two long wars.

Republicans argue that the Democratic president is shortchanging the military and leaving the nation vulnerable, requiring billions more for defense. In a reversal earlier this year, the GOP abandoned the spending levels for defense and domestic programs set last summer in the deficit-cutting agreement between Obama and Congress. They boosted defense spending by $8 billion and offset the increase with deep cuts in safety-net programs for the poor such as Medicaid and food stamps.

Granholm: Republicans’ voter suppression drive is ‘treasonous’

Former Michigan Governor Jennifer Granholm said on her Current TV show Tuesday evening that voter suppression efforts across the country could be considered as “treasonous” acts.

Granholm took a swipe at the Republican Party, feeling their push for tougher voter eligibility laws and limiting early voting is an obvious attack on the Democratic party’s key base.

“Why do they do this?” Granholm asked. “Seems kind of obvious. When you don’t have the winning ideas, you change the rules of the game. And when you can’t convince voters that you are the best choice, you restrict their ability to choose.”

heh... still just one poster, essentially, keeping this 'alive'...

still blaming it all on the reps, while keeping his head in the sand to the real truth:

It's a one party system, where they both screw us in different ways, to the same result.
