No offense intended.
Sounds like good stuff. ...but...
Your link doesn't work, however searching eBay for "MEDI-ONE" does.
A quick search in Google for both "MEDI-ONE" and "Green Planet Nutrients" returned zero results for this product, so it appears it's only available on eBay??

At eBay MEDI-ONE costs $30 for 17oz...at my local garden center I can get John's Recipe (3 - 1.5 - 2) for $13 per 32oz bottle. John's Recipe is also completely natural; in fact, it contains everything MEDI-ONE does, plus more.

Like most nutrients that are "formulated specially for Cannabis", MEDI-ONE is overpriced. The truth is, Cannabis doesn't need "specially formulated" fertilizers. The marketing dept is counting on stoners being gullible...and unfortunately it's working.

well ive got a bottle here and ill be putting it to the test. ive never used it before. i do know about nutes and what makes them diff. and i dont get how anyone can say theirs has the same when they dont know whats in this..nor thiers unless they work for them. and yes cannabis does require a specific mix. and not all natural is always good...depends what sources they use for the dry form.or in this case the type of fish used for the emulsion.
i do agree its a touch pricey at 30 a liter..but when i dont need to buy both a veg and a bloom and additives then its no more money.

and im not knocking any of the others nutes. havent used that johnys stuff. seems to have little phos though form them numbers.

so ill run a journal if anyone is intereested in seeing what it can or cant do. i do test alot of products out there and seed./ i will always give an honest opinion. if it sucks ill say it sucks.
i have had a chance to see some of the reports on this and i do like what i saw. so lets see if i can replicate that...or at least get close being my first run with it.

i have a few different strains to try with it

i see defficent tips there. burnt tips. and lots of hair and no calyx and a pic dont tell whats in it. if you knew some science youd know all plant require a certain nute mix and ph and so on.

and at 3.50 for that im sure its not to high of quality. there is a diff in the sources chosen. not all poo is good poo. nor is nute sources.
and im not saying your plants look like shit. but a pic means nothing on quality. this is med..,.not yield.

also if we didnt need specific nutes then Miricle Grow would own the market. and they suck for food for us. you couldnt pay me to put anything grown in that stuff in me.

what is that long sativa there anyways.

How many weed growers do you suppose have access to LC-MS? Hardly anyone knows the chemical profile of their weed.

But it isn't so specific in terms of nutrients that you need a different fert to grow tomatoes than you do for corn or peppers or marijuana. pH is a different matter altogether.

Not true at all, and once upon a time the majority of growers were using MG because all these specialty ferts weren't available. And we still had damn potent weed.
There are plenty of people who don't have access to specialty ferts. According to you, they can't grow their own???

People who want to spend big money for ferts should by all means do it. But it isn't necessary and people need to know that.

I have to agree with mwmba. There is a growing faction here professing that Cannabis needs specially formulated fertilizer, and that's unfortunate especially since those fertilizers often cost $$$$. Anyone who's been a gardener for more than a couple years knows it is simply not the case.
Cannabis has been growing wild for thousands of years, and thriving. These landrace weeds never get fertilized by specialty fertilizers, most often their nutrients come from compost/humus in the natural course of decomposition.

You can't care for Cannabis in the same way you care for tomatoes, but you can feed them the same fertilizer because they are both flowering plants. Plants just need adequate nutrition, they don't care where the nutrients come from or what the label says.
The label is mostly marketing directed at influencing humans.

I dunno I'm willing to bet that the organic stuff i smoke that was grown with compost teas and guanos will definitely taste just as good if not better. Just cuz you slap a label on something and say it is specially formulated for cannabis doesn't mean that it is high and mighty. I just doubt that it is worth the extra cost over other organics.
