Independence I disagree. Splitting cable television is definitely stealing, as you don't pay per channel watched. It is GENERALLY one price for as many televisions are hooked up to it.
Electricity is charged per watt. So it is more like asking your neighbour to let you eat from his fridge for a couple months. Someone pays, just not you.
Although I will give you that situation with the extension cord sounds either fabricated or a half-truth. Who asks to do that, and who says yes...weird.

2 1kw lamps will defo keep me up at night....no one will no about this grow except me, my partner and all of you... im sure a dramatic change in electricity usage attracts attention tho no? Im located in UK btw where houses are generally smaller and closer together... but the growroom will be in an apartment block. Wish i was an electrician so i could change the output readings and have all the lights i wanted!
i can tell you that where i live fpl runs it, if u steal yes they can trace to your house, as long as your bill isnt over 450 a month here they wont even look, if its a lil higher even, but my friend at fpl said that they do look around when u hit 550$ for 3 months strait, but all they do is a stress test on your line, say 10 houses are on it they see if ur leeching or have a bunch of backfeed resistance ( caused by tampering in the lines or over rating usage per house, he said that they have yet to call the police in 3 years hes been there except for dicks that didnt hide their exhaust and a another dick wanted to be a hero and call the cops either way as stated pay ur billl!!!!

or you will slaughter a crop, burn money, increase frustration, waste time and have to start over 6 months from now
We will get 2 or 3 fans and a carbon filter that will ventilate it enough surely... maybe a humidifier aswell. Do u reckon a little air purifier is worth getting aswell?

Do u reckon a little air purifier is worth getting aswell? circ fans or exhaust fans? 1ks put out a lot of heat--way more than 600s do--unless you have major A/C cooling in the house, you'll want to figure out of to exhaust the hot air... air purifier? nah--the carbon system will do fine for my part, I'm running a small scene with 300w T-5 in a room adjacent to a 600x2 flower room--air pulls through the veg room from a duct in a garage bay, then into the flower room through a bafle that is only open during the light period--through a pair of sealed hoods and then to waste up a chimney--no need for scrubbing or cooling or even recirc--but if I went to 2x1k, I guarantee that I'd need to increase the inline fan from 6" to 10" and up the horses--1ks are that much hotter in a small space... better to run cooler than expected than hotter than expected

We have decided to go for 3 600w lamps and a 400w for mother room so we dont over do it with the 1kws. Would altering light intensity and postions of lights during flowering stress the plants or affect them in any bad ways??

I finally got my seeds aswell!!! lots of lovely strains! Sensi seeds Big bud, some nirvana seeds Snow white and Wonder woman to name a few!  When i get some grows under my belt i want to cross Snow white and Wonder Woman to create Sleeping Beauty!  Not too long before things get under way now just a few more things to sort out and Badaabooom!! I really canny waaaiiit!!
