Worry about your set-up first. You have to try various strains. Stereotypes I have heard, have been false for the set-up I am familiar with.
You have to pick your priority: Volume, quality, time, easy for cloning, type of high, etc...
You can try, but can not have the best of all worlds.
I have also heard that NL#5 or Skunk strains are good beginners. Hated the quantity with Mango.

Just been on the doctor chronic site browsing seeds and making notes for the past few hours but have not found any NL#5 seeds... I would preferabally like to get all my seeds from this site as i can recieve the seeds within a few days seeing as im in the UK.
I found a few interesting strains that i am considering though; Dutch passion had a few good lookers including the Master Kush, Brainstorm, Cali Orange, Blueberry, Power plant and Dutch passion(any1 grown this?) which it states has an enormous yield! Greenhouse also had some good uns like Super Lemon Haze and Great white shark. Big bud is something that is available and that i have been considering aswell as i hear good things - any feedback from experience is appreciated!
Does anyone have a link direct to a NL#5 seedbank? would be good if i can get it delivered soon. Will probably settle with getting 10 seeds of one strain like NL#5 or master kush then 5 seeds of two other strains.

...his power was switched off for some 6 months....Power company suspected he was stealing electric. He wasn't, he had an extension to a neighbour, but regardless the guy they sent reported to police his suspicions. How is that not theft? Wish i was an electrician so i could change the output readings and have all the lights i wanted! Also theft. Better than 90% of all thieves end up in jail at some point. Growing weed illegally is enough risk to assume. Having a partner compounds the risk, don't add theft to it. 2 1kw lamps will defo keep me up at night Unless you're prepared to cut holes in drywall and repair them later, the door to the room will need to stay open for ventilation. Even if you decide to go with a 400w lamp, it'll keep you up. 50,000 lumens is friggin bright. but the growroom will be in an apartment block. You'd better invest in a carbon filter. Who pays the electricity, you or the apt owners? If you're growing to support yourself, you can do quite well with a 3x3ft space and a 400w lamp. I start 10 seeds, and thin to the best 4 - 6 females to flower. When i said i wished i could change all the output readings I meant it in regards to not getting busted due to a dramatic change in useage of electricity, paying the bill is not a problem at all and I definetly am not a thief! Thats what i meant aswell by 2 1kw lights keeping me up at night, not in the literal sense but because of the electric they use... We have decided to switch rooms for the grow so we now will have a couple more feet each way; we did this as we realised we would need the extra space for a separate section for the mother/s. We most probably will get a carbon filter considering the layout. The electricity gets paid through a meter so it should draw less heat than direct company bills... we were thinking 20 plants under 3 400Ws!! Whaddya reckon??? Nice ladies ya got there btw... what r they?

Power company turns off power due to bill owage. Grower asks neighbor if he can run extension cord to his house for a few 100 watts to live. Neighbor says yes. No theft here. Power company figured he might be stealing because they figured "who can live without our precious electricity for 4 months" ? Especially when power consumption was so high before. Or perhaps that was just an excuse to trigger a pot raid... Regardless, moral IMO is ALWAYS pay your electric on time. (And always make sure you have enough cash to do so.)

we were thinking 20 plants under 3 400Ws!! Whaddya reckon??? First, I think you don't have a choice about a C filter. 20 plants will stink the place up good...even 'low odor' strains. Apts are just too close to have anyone wondering where the skunk is...or shit, depending upon the strain you're growing. Weed has a distinctive odor. Second, you don't say how large the new space is, but two 600's will use the same amount of electricity as three 400's and put out 20% more light (30,000 lumens...almost another 400HPS). The girls in the pics are Kali Spice x C99. Pretty skunky in veg, and smelled just like fresh dog shit when flowering. Thankfully, they didn't smell or taste that way after drying and curing. We got like 9 x 9ft length and width, then 8ft height... we were thinking 3 400w to spread the light out but if there will be 20% more light from two 600w then !!

Whats the deal with Dr Chronic?? I was sure it was a high rated consistant site but after i read this on the seedbank topic - http://www.weedsthatplease.com/blacklisted.htm, i dug deeper and found more and more bad feedback from more recent buyers from the doctor but from different forums, also some good feedback, but it seemed to be more bad.... So why are the they still on http://www.seedbankupdate.com/su.htmlWhat is the real deal with them... buyer experience is more than welcome and will be appreciated! Im looking on Attitude for now anyway cos of all the stuff i read!

Off Topic, but no theft whatsoever.
Power company turns off power due to bill owage. Grower asks neighbor if he can run extension cord to his house for a few 100 watts to live. Neighbor says yes. No theft here. It's analogous to having your cable turned off and asking the neighbor to put a splitter on their cable and run a length to your place. It's theft of service. The utility company provides a service, if someone receives the service without paying for it, it's stealing. It has nothing to do with gaining the neighbor's consent, because the service isn't theirs to share. I wouldn't be surprised to hear the neighbor also incurred some legal woes from the deal. Your friend got busted because of his ignorance & stupidity, not because of the electric company's arrogance. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Krafty - Attitude is a reliable vendor with great strains, so are Hemp Depot (CA) and Seed Boutique (UK). If you're in the UK, I'd seriously consider Seed Boutique- 9ft x 9ft area - neither three 400w lamps nor two 600's will cover that space adequately. You're gonna need at least four 1kw lamps... 400w covers 3x3ft -- for 9x9ft -> nine 400w lamps. 9 x 50,000 lumens = 450,000 lumens & 3600 watts consumption 600w covers 3.5x3.5ft -- for 9x9ft -> six 600w lamps. 6 x 90,000lumens = 540,000 lumens & 3600 watts consumption 1kw covers 4x4ft -- for 9x9ft -> four to five 1kw lamps. 4 x 140,000 = 560,000 lumens & 4000 watts consumption 600w lamps still provide the most bang for the buck, ya just need 3 times as many as ya thought.
