after the gig last night here in Vancouver ZZTop gave us a guitar they had signed and scrolled beautifully to auction off to raise funds and awareness for Marc's case.
if your interested in bidding on this I will update this thread as we get ready to list it somewhere.

At first glance I thought it was a Gibson Epiphone GT Standard II, but the neck markers reveal otherwise, at least to me. These usually have trapezoid fret markers, not dots.

A Pic of the Headstock will tell the tale. Not very likely it is a Melody Maker: PU configuration is usually either single or double P-90's

Billy Gibbons is a big fan of Melody Makers and a big fan of pinstriped motifs. Nevertheless, when do we begin bidding, Fran???

well we havent had the official photoshoot for this guitar yet, waiting for Jodie to come back from Ontario.
I am however making an un~official YouTuber this weekend to build buzz stay tuned more soon...
