It was reported earlier this year that the overtime tab the private car service for cabinet ministers is over half a million dollars

http://www.winnipegfreepress.com/canada/...-160413005.html

tory pirates assert austerity measures while they slurp up the gravy. million dollar car tabs while one million go hungry today, this is absolutely within their hypocritical christian dogma: do unto yourself, fuck all others.

The same proportion of Canadians surveyed this month - 49% - had an unfavourable view of Prime Minister Stephen Harper, while 35% had a favourable impression.

Ploughman says she's afraid of being penalized for not taking another job, she expressed those fears to Finley, who told her she needs to learn more about the changes. Finley told her she would send her an information package.

Diane Ablonczy, the federal minister of state for foreign affairs, has said the federal government used “quiet diplomacy” to help secure Tepper’s release in March.

the CBC produced actual photocopies of the cheques in question, got the inside scoop from the employees and there were about 20 involved.

they've got evidence enough to prosecute, but we know how the tories just spend our money to get out of the shit.

del mastro: walk the plank!

And it inspired the students to take action — they created a video, now posted on YouTube in which they ask all Canadians to send 59 cents to the Prime Minister's Office "to let him know that we will not stand for these cuts."

jason and stevie, you can milk this to death on the BBQ circuit this summer: roll up the pennies, put them to good use before the penny prohibition rolls out.

A senior official with the union representing federal government employees who is losing his own position says the latest round of job cuts is hurting rural areas hardest.

http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/newfoundla...impact-628.html

how counter-intuitive! win the rural areas in the election then quash their livelihoods? good forward thinking, must be preparing for a cushy retirement. certainly ain't going to be re-elected.

Several employees at the Canada Revenue Agency who were told to remove the buttons by their managers have filed grievances through their union to fight the order.

ain't this democracy? what country is this?
