I am not a LEO. Do you think an LEO would even waste his or her time talking to you? They have better things to do buddy...
The police are out busting people for growing Marks weed. They make money that way, officers are employed. You go to county jail, the sheriffs dept. and all of their goons profit. You go through the court system, lawyers and co. make money. You go to prison, the guards and staff at prison make money. You get released, your parole officer and his crew will make money. The drug treatment center you will be in, well, they too will be making money.
You see, prison is a good industry. Is it right? No. Has it ever been? No. Will it ever be? No. The Prison system in this country is far from the gulags and the horrors of the NKVD. Trust me tovarish, I am from the soviet bloc. Prisons here are really nice, they're like hotels (compared to other prisons). Beds and linens and food and bathrooms and all that, do you think they had that at the prison camps near Katyn, nah. And you know why - cuz in the Soviet union no one made money!
Here, someone has to build the prison, and they're making money. Someone is planning all the security shit for the prison, and they make money. Someone has to supply all the beds and shit...they make money...the cycle continues. Who does these things, people like me and you. Construction workers, cooks, nurses doctors counselors, all of these assholes make money. Prison is much more profitable than cannabis. And thats why the damn stuff is still illegal.
Fortunately, because of people like you, who are willing to defy all the things that I am telling you, and the people that question the way that things are and grow out Marks seeds... Things are changing. But someone will make money....

I would like to add a point to ponder. My thought is that there are dual motivations for the rise in the prison population. The first has be elaborated here quite extensively, our agencies are using the overabundance of laws to 'fatten' their budgets. Both Federally and at a State level one must compete with many other "piggies" all trying to suckle from momma's tit. The easiest way to do this is to create a hysteria of crime running rampant and they have a definite need for more funds. This creates a situation where the policing forces must inflate numbers. I have been privy to this after spending a bit of 'time' for an unrelated issue, I will expound on this in another appropriate forum section.
The second and even more nefarious aspect is the creation of a new true slave class. When this hemisphere was founded the first slave class was formed, Native American's or the Indians, some of our founding fathers were even directly involved in this process. The next class were the African's shipped over, where all our Principled Founding Fathers from Virginia south were guilty of this oppression. Once these were slightly emancipated the next elite class felt bringing Irish, Italian and other Europeans along with Chinese would form a new 'slave labor', this is all well documented. Now with the new media enhanced coverage the elite need a new indentured servant. This new class will be the prison populated and the formerly incarcerated.
I could go on about the discrimination aspect of this but anyone who has tested these waters would agree, it is difficult to rebound from. Over the next decade, even in the priceless Obama years, we will see the evolution. The advent of the United Socialist States of America is upon us even in the face of a 'liberal' leader. Funny how we elected a Liberal and the rest of the world has ventured down the Conservative path Canada, Italy, France to name a few.....
Just some food for thought. If you twitter check my stream there as well!

Yes please ban me. And then speak out against totalitarianism and gulags and rant and rave about the importance of free speech and individual rights and your hippie bullshit.
Prison is a business. Everyone profits. But you obviously dont understand either. More than a few have never set foot in prison after the first time. They get jobs, stop scamming and even hire an attorney to ask a judge to expunge their criminal record. That`s between 300 and a thousand bucks if the judge requests a hearing. Everybody profits from prison? The tax dollars to run the system is eternally in the red. Nobody profits from that scat.
