I too have been trying to find a Dr for a long time and was told to look for Dr Latowski. However I cant find him or his number anywhere.
That link provided on the first page of this thread doesnt work. And ive tried all the phone number look up sites.
Does anyone have the address or phone number for his office? My GF has terrible RA and I have suffered from back spasms for ten yrs and think its finally about time to get the proper medication WE need.

Hi (thank you all for your posts) Dr Latowski is easy to find using Google I do not know him yet but he did say: Government should stop moralizing medical marijuana. Instead of harassing practitioners to keep doses low Health Canada should instead support the basic science research necessary to allow for proper titration of dose and symptoms. His comment suggests a strong effort by himself to allow for proper dosing! For me “proper dosing” is the treasure I am seeking He is still active as far as the message machine goes My own specialist is currently about to make contact and refer me there, so I checked My specialist wanted to prescribe 5 and my family doc 3 grams I am trying to find an open minded prescriber who will consider the HC's own stats that 1/4th, 1/5th, and 10th are the absorption rates for oral versus smoking Thus 5 grams smokable, for someone who absolutely cannot smoke due to precancerous Leukoplakia and precancerous Barrett's Esophagus I have many diagnosed conditions with pain anxiety and trauma and seizures (and all the assessment reports) I am Cat 1 twice over and Cat 2 four or more times over Therefore: If 5 grams smoking per day is the right amount then it should be multiplied by 1/4, 1/5 or 1/10th = 20, 25, or 50 grams per day to make tea This is my position and what I need to talk about with to an open minded expert I would prefer NOT to see Dr Latowski due to the delays, caused by his need for a referral, a criminal record check, and 3 month urine tests But, the process seems like it could become very difficult and I am set back by the raid upon the doctor in Coe Hill (who is currently not taking new patients, but does offer a "no promises" waiting list) The help these doctors are giving to many people who need medicinal bud is huge I am very saddened by what happened in Coe Hill So I will go forward and be very happy if I get to meet Dr Latowski He did a talk or essay once, which I quote:
"Government should stop moralizing medical marijuana. Instead of harassing practitioners to keep doses low Health Canada should instead support the basic science research necessary to allow for proper titration of dose and symptoms. There is enough basic science now to state that cannabinoid receptors are ubiquitous in neuronal cell membranes. Discovery and elucidation of function of cannabinoid receptors in the nucleus accumbens, pre-frontal cortex, striatum and hippocampus support the idea that the endocannabinoid system play an important neuromodulatory role in varied central nervous system functions such as control over appetite, sleep, cognitions, memory, mood and social behavior(2) "
For my case he seems very expert and may be willing to follow the math as I am hoping regarding a higher dosage due to not being able to smoke it I will let you know But I have a question: If anyone can help me find a doctor that I can just take my assessment reports and letters of referral to and discuss this and perhaps walk out with a prescription I would be greatly appreciative I live several hours from Dr Latowski and do not wish to drive there every three months and do urine tests and criminal record checks if I do not have to Can anyone please direct me to another doctor so I get on with being licensed sooner and easier? Thank you Want2bfree

I like complete sentences with punctuation. Thank you in advance. Ben. There is no period after "Ben",Ben. Unless "Ben" is the last word in a sentence as above. LOL Just kidding Ben. Oops, did it again. Actually, I never use end punctuation in my posts Which Ben can get even with me for, as deserved Punnily, we could all use many more "Ben Franklins" in our lives LOL Ok, I am done I hope the joke slid over fine Ben; no offense intended at all I think I must need a medical bud prescription The sooner the better Nice to meet you all Want2bfree

Hi cateros Can you update us on Dr Latowski? Bedside manner? Is it true he wants : 1) a referral 2) a criminal record check 3) 3 month urine tests What is he looking for in the urine? Is the dosage he has agreed to (if he has) acceptable and mathematically correct in your opinion? I may be seeing him soon, if something better does not come up first Can you just bring the criminal record with you to the first appointment and get him to sign the HC forms or does this become very drawn out How many appointments before he signed Thank you for your help (assuming in adavance) Have a good day Want2bfree

Then you need to ask the specialist to sign the papers for you and forget about the other doctor. You can also ask for a copy of that report to go to any Doctor, and go see another GP if the specialist isn't going to sign for you. I want people to start looking for a decent doctor that will be understanding and not just trying to find a pot doctor for a signature. cannagirl
