Hello so my problem is that I have my medical marijuana card which is great.. My problem is that the guy that set me up with the Dr. that would sign my papers made me sign a 2yr contract with him.. I want to be able to grow, not let someone else grow and charge me for my medicine.. I don't think the Dr. will sign for me if I am not in a contract with the guy...

I need to find another Dr. that will sign for me and not give my growers license away... Any suggestions??? I am from kamloops.B.C., Canada..

I have Severe Rhumatoid Arthritis if this helps?

If I were you I wouldn't stand for that shit. Sounds like your Dr. and "grower" are in cohoots. I suggest that you complain (in writing) to the Health Canada/MMAR folks. I would also send a letter to the Provincial Medical Society and the Provincial Minister of Health. Your Dr. should not be doing this to you. It is not their role or duty, and it is way out of line.He should have no interest and nothing to do with your ability to grow yourself, or in who you choose to appoint to be your grower. My response would be to BITCH.

Ok I understand what you are saying but... I tried to get my MMAR card from other Dr.s and they said NO.. So this guy I met grows as a business for mmar PATIENTS.. This guy introduced me to the Dr. that would sign my MMAR card.. So I had to sign the contract B4 I could meet the Dr. that would sign..

........still sounds crooked to me.......and my advice remains the same : BITCH. The Dr. that signed your papers has his neck on the line. I would urge you to get in touch with the MMAR folks. You have your card. And a Dr. who is screwing you. BITCH !

Has this have anythnig to do with the Do No Harm Clinic in Kelowna that focus exclusively on signing the Health
Canada declarations. There is a fee of $400.00 if they end up signing the forms.

Ya, that's all we need is for you to complain to Health Canada. There's about 3 doctors in the world that will sign papers and you want to complain to HC about one of them. You were under no duress when you first read, agreed and signed your contract. You say you've been trying to get an exemption for 4 years and other doc's say no. Well here's a doc that is willing to help, even under the circumstances the College of Physicians and Surgeons have put them in. I belong to the same co-op and have no complaints. I get FREE weed and so does anyone else that signs up. No other compassion club does this that I know of. By the way, I've been after some something like this for 40 years, not only 4. If you complain to H.C. a lot of other people get screwed around and/or busted. If you're not happy with the deal you got, well you know what they say, The Grass Is Always Greener On The Other Side Of The Fence.

They way it's being described Banty, this is hardly on the up and up and is in fact taking advantage of some one. This type of thing is supposed to be about providing freedom of choice in medicine. Telling some one who is dearly hoping to find legal access to their medicine that they can't get it unless they follow some sort of rule set is terrible when there is already a ridiculous rule set from the government that is onerous and unreasonable.

If you're getting your medicine at the expense of some one else in that they're being unreasonably constricted by a healer, you should be ashamed of yourself no matter how long you waited for something like it.

Cheers

this is doesnt sound legit in terms of the marr program but you did make an agreement and should hold up your end. I wouldnt do it again though and you are futher a head than 4 years ago. its is easy for me to sit hear and type this but I am one of my word after the agreement is finished the doctor should sign your forms again if not then I would be raising some HELL.

Quick question about Dr. My family Dr has located 3 Dr's who prescibe medicinal marijuana in my area and has refered me to each of them her referals all state I will not accept opiate treatment for pain as I have had a bad experience and had to work to get them out of my life but am in great amount of pain and she has sent me to them for a referal for the MMAR program as she is does not feel comfortable prescribing a medicine she has no knowledge of even recreationally but from her examination she feels tha from what I have related to her on how it helps me she feels I would benefit from medicinal cannabis. So what I am wondering is a Dr who is already prescriving cannabis with a referal like that from another Dr think ther is much chance of being denied or is it true what I was told that if you get one Dr to refer you then you have pretty much beat the problem of getting your exemption oh the Dr she is sending me to first is a Dr Latowsky in scarborough anyone hear of him? When discussing doses should I tell him ecause of my paranoia I only buy when I absolutely cant stand it anymore and only enough for the night so the most I have ever used is 3-4 grams in a evening and thru the next day so maybe 4 grams in a day probably 4 grams in 17 hours. Sould I tell him this is hw I buy or shoudl I estimate what I need on what themax I would use is and tell him that is what I need daily. Like if 5 grams is hte max I ever used but generally I average 2-4 grams and somedays i sue none? I just want to be honest and make sure my script is what I need or a little less as I understand it can all be changed later. And finally is there any fee like other govt forms for to get mmar applications filled out I know for a physical for a az licence you can pay up to 125$ so just wondering if Dr's charge to fill the mmars out.
