Hi ! This is my first post here, I just joined. I did a test of the lumigrow as the only light source. It produced really nice quality buds, just not as much as I hoped it wouldd ( somewhat less than a 600 watt HPS... I like the looks of your test. Looking forward to new photos. How are the flowers forming? I noticed in the earlier post that the advice from lumigrow talked about adding some flourescent lighting. Are you doing this? I am thinking of doing this as I suspect that our favorite little plant needs something a little extra than the red and blue that most of these led lights provide....

i just picked up a nice bundle at my local hydro shop. Sun System Galaxy Electronic 1000w balast, Yield Master II air-coolable reflector, and a Eye Hortilux 1000w bulb for only $450. i figured what the hell. i also got one of those Kill A Watt devices that measures the current. _ im curious to see how many watts my LEDs are really using. so here it is. 50w from HTG Supply. only 42w. _ 10w Cree Panel from Home Grown Lights. 11w _ 250w LumiGrow. fluctuates between 243 and 244 _ so its lookin like only 297w total for this grow.

50w from HTG Supply. only 42w. _ I knew HTG was lying to me cali cuz after the GlowPanel 45 tested at 26.7 watts I knew their claim was bullshit so I e-mailed them and got this. Hello Thank you for your interest in our products. The panels that we carry run pretty much right at 50 watts, sometimes one watt more or less. The LED's use 45watts and the panel itself will use 4-5 watts for a total of 50w. Thanks again and have a nice day about the Lumigrow, how much wattage you think the fans are pulling out of that. Very impressive number by far on the Lumigrow in watts compared to the others besides the 10 watter. thanks for sharing the info with us cali
