Oh, I definitely wasn't saying young guys (or anyone for that matter) can't have an opinion.
And I am definitely NOT saying that all young guys are immature. I've met/known young guys who were very mature for their age ...usually because they were either the oldest/only child in their family, or because of having experiences (like moving away from home while still quite young) that forced them to grow up faster than usual.
I just meant ones who's lives are very much influenced by MTV/MuchMusic and raging hormones and looking cool in front of their friends (and other guys in-general) and who tend to react/speak without thinking/caring about the possible consequences.
But you probably knew that.

I am worried about Marc's situation: an American jail?

Remember Laibar Singh, the fellow who came to Canada and tried to queue-jump, and remember when the authorities tried to transport him to the airport, all the supporters who blocked off the entrance to the Departures level of the Airport?

Maybe it is the fact that I don't have any ganga right now, but I am bummed out, I don't think I have any sway here... wish I could do something.

What is maturity? I'll settle for kindness.

i think maturity would be learning from past mistakes to prevent future mishaps, understanding your place in the world and how to operate in a fashion that allows you to live a happy life without hurting others. maturity is something original to every individual so others could offer their views if so inclined.

A few questions and appreciate any response! I have never met Marc, but he is the most incredible, motivational, sincere, well-spoken guy I have ever seen or listened to in my life!

Is this extradition anything but politically motivated?

How many other seed-sellers have been extradited to the US? If zero, then answer to first question must be that it is politically motivated.

How can Canada not charge Marc with anything, yet extradite him for political motives? Especially if they have never extradited a seed-seller before.

The notion that this is primarily (read, only) a political issue is long past debate at this stage in the game. Multiple people on both sides of the boarder have made comments to the effect that Marc's arrest is more about his constant battle in the Legalization War then any of the reasons based in health, legality, or morality offered up by the malignant forces orchestrating this affaire. Combine this with the legal precedents against his extraction from canadian soil and the current state of the law in Canada becomes clear. At this juncture legal action and non-violent protest are the only viable options available to angered Vancouverites and Marc's world wide fan-base.
