Alright, it's the next morning, and the weed is still gritty, but I don't see any shards. My wife didn't notice the grit, but when I asked her to look at the grinder residue, she did think she saw glass (probably unreliable). I'm chalking this up to a paranoid episode on my part (I'm kind of sleep deprived).

You wouldn't be able to see anything (if there was anything) with my pics, and since this is generic brickweed, I'd probably make more people paranoid than it's worth. This is dreggy looking weed, and I wouldn't be surprised if the grit is just dirt from the harvest room floor.

i have come across plenty of this weed, and some others. we frequently get weed, that once its rolled and you start smoking it, the ash goes rock solid, and seems to be quite greasy at the same time (dropped ash on laminate floor, the ash smeared across the floor, like it was oil) its scarey to think, that people can get away with this, and people like me, will smoke it anyway, if theres nothing else to smoke, lol. we used to smoke solid, untill it started tasting like disel!! so we swapped over to weed, thinking it would be more pure, i guess not!!! no-one is safe anymore, and its quite sad, coz its not a drug that causes serious anti-social behavior like the other drugs, ie, heroin, alcohol, coke, and what ever else there is out there, so why can we not be protected from the bandits who do this for profit, for a drug that is relitivly harmless!! mind boggles!! infact its less harmless than alcohol, yet alcohol is legal!! the problem being, the government get so much revenue from it, and even though they know, that alcohol is one of the most harmfull drugs, its still legal, but won't take it off the shelves or outlaw it. so we come back to weed and its contaminants, how can something relitivly harmless, not be regulated when its clear, the added ingrediants can do more harm than the weed itself, theres so many benefits to weed, thats being clouded by idiots who just want to make money reguardless of the health of the consumer.

For the last 18 months all I have been able to get my hands on is this crap grit weed!! My solution to this problem is to start growing my own and then no more grit weed for me! Wahooo

However the gritty weed tastes incredibly crap however it hasnt killed me off yet but there is still time!

looks like the grit weed has finally gone? wasnt really a big problem where i live but was lots of it in the cities.. folks seem to get off selling wet buds now instead - the cheeky swines!
