It seems I have to resort to more, shall we say, circumspect methods. The other side has this neat trick where they can get around laws protecting freedom of communication by simply making your screen go blank, you are still online but you can’t see where your pointer is to send what they don’t like you writing about. Typical fascist tactic to keep a lid on the Truth. All the facts in the world without the light of Truth to place them in context, will yield no wisdom, but only folly.

As I mentioned on the earlier attempts to comment, I like that they “conceded”, in this instance. To concede would be the logical course of action for all those who find themselves caught up in the web of lies that has them oppressing their fellow citizens. They need to turn over a new leaf and instead, as should we all, defend the inalienable right of everyone to believe and practice whatever does no harm to others. Everywhere. The DEA routinely violates the rights of people and nations, and destroys lives and commerce of those who in no way harm other people.. All this in the name of ‘protecting’ them from something supposedly harmful, which everyone now knows it is not. Prohibition, and particularly the DEA’s enforcement of it, on the other hand is clearly devastating to countless lives every year, not to mention the associated economic activity they generate, whereas the DEA only consumes Billions in taxes paid by people who have no enmity to those the ones they pay are attacking. They are like bad mercenaries, destroying their employers country.

The ‘Nixonian’ or Orwellian concept of destruction of people and property to ‘protect’ them is deeply embedded in the Bush Syndicate hierarchy which still permeates much of America’s power structure. As the people and livestock of the Vietnamese village of Mai Lai were massacred by Lt. J. Calley, (one of the few ever prosecuted for such things), who said in his defense, “We had to destroy this village in order to save it from ‘Communism’.” the BS and its bureaucratic tentacles still today use this ideology. The war drugs has claimed a great many innocent victims who deserve to be compensated. As the DEA is dismantled their budget could go to compensating marijuana users dealers and growers who have been victimized by the phony ‘prohibition’, which is unconstitutional on so many levels to begin with.

Omar Khadr was a 15 year old Canadian child who was visiting relatives and friends in Afghanistan .in the middle of the night , near the beginning of the American invasion, without warning, there was an American air strike, killing many in the compound. A unit of troops was deployed in a ‘mopping up’ operation, who went about the compound shooting the wounded including women, children and livestock. Omar was shot through, twice in the abdomen. He remained conscious long enough to tell them he was Canadian and was airlifted to Bhagram air force base and later to Guantanamo where he remains as the only living witness to an American atrocity. Barack wants him sent home, but Harper supports the BS, (and CIA, DEA, etc.), and is doing his bit to suppress the Truth. Harper claims Omar is ‘charged with serious crimes’ and that he won’t have anyone the US considers a terrorist in Canada. Both lies. Omar was asleep in his bed when he was attacked and even if he did throw a grenade as is claimed, (he didn’t) everyone everywhere has the right to defend themselves when attacked without warning and all the people you are with are killed. He has never even been charged, let alone convicted of any offence. He was not in the jurisdiction of any American court, anyway and never committed any offence there, (a la Marc Emery), nor did commit or be charged with any offence in the jurisdiction of any Canadian court.

In the light of the Truth, the neo conservatives, the Harper government, the United States government, the DEA, national, provincial state and local police, the judicial system of every nation, must concede the right thing to do is to cease and desist from the discrimination and violent oppression of people in violation of their inalienable rights. Immediately and forthwith. They will adopt a mandate instead to defend and protect the inalienable right of Everyone to believe and practice whatever does no harm to others. Everywhere. Do this and we shall All live in Peace and Harmony.
