Ed Rosenthal started a campaign for people to mail a joint to Obama....just to help him remember how pot really is and maybe open his eyes to changing the drug war...

Ed's now claiming the White House has received over 10,000 joints!

i been searching for a good hour now and other then a blog post about Ed's campaign i can't find shit on this story....

now if this is a true story why on earth is it not getting any coverage at all?....10,000 joints being mailed to the president of the US is a big story...are there any independent news storys backing this up?....has anyone asked Obama....so what you doing with all that weed you been getting in the mail?

Its the kind of story which mainstream news would ignore. If Obama's got 10,000 joints, he's guilty of possession. He's guilty of felony possession to be honest. And Id bet money, if the DC cops raided his "white house" they would find GUNS and Armed thugs.

I just looked on snopes.com and there is no mention of it {confirming, or denying}, so that kinda leaves it up in the air, perhaps it did happen and its being covered up.....or we are witnessing the beginnings of an internet rumor.

so if i mail a joint to a judge, cop, my mayor....ect they will be arrested?...as penn and teller would say bullshit

more then likely if this happened at all they will be looking for the senders....

hell at least norml would post something about it on there site....but nothing

i think Ed's blowing that number up alot.....i'm sure alot of people mailed in one...but nowhere near 10,000 joints

Why is 10,000 joints unrealistic? There are millions of cannabis users in the states.

that being said, of course the president wouldn't be subjected to legal action and all that but it's worth pointing out that this type of thing doesn't always have the effect you think it may. Being a mayor or perhaps other public official doesn't protect you power tripping thugs.
