Look into www.sunpulselamps.com

I learned A LOT from them. Mainly that your normal HPS bulbs, even the Hortilux are simply not designed to work with the newer electronic/digital ballasts.

Check it out, look through the Literature section.

This company, http://www.energyfocusinc.com/
just got a contract
to change out million of lights
for the US NAVY
and I predict when their contract is full-filled
the price of LEDs will start to fall.
