Bro, you're logic is sound enough; however, many medical patients do benefit from femenization! Where legal plant numbers can make a difference in your personal freedom, having the luxury of growing that "legal" number of female plants is a boon. As an experienced farmer, I tell you that a good grower can do just fine with femenized seed!
Each to their own, I say.
Further, speaking from my own recent experience with Vancouver Island... the seeds from the strain I purchased were old,(Titanium), and should be discarded. When you do side by side comparisons, with VISC having a 20% germination rate, perhaps you guys need to do a better job of keeping up with your bean ages?

bean age? i have had 4 ak47 seeds for over 4 years in a jar, i germed them and 3 popped up but 2 died after a late frost.

well I or one of my mates has grown OG Kush, Chemdawg, Cheese, bubba kush, C99, Endless Sky and Iranian autoflowers. All were fems and all were females

Just about any kind of bud will produce flowers if you let it go long enough. The seeds produced by these bud/flowers will be 100% female, and will produce plants nearly identical to the parent. My experience is that this is the only way to go. Try it, and you will not be disappointed. Plan on waiting up to 20 weeks though. Also the pollen from the female flowers can be frozen and used again.
The flowers can lend a wonderfully sweet taste to the smoke.

What kinda freaks me out about this whole feminized seed thing is this; If God created female Cannabis to be eventually self pollinating, then why did he create male Cannaibs plants?
Sure, feminized seeds are great....... but something just ain't natural about 'em.

Well I'm guessing since the seeds are almost identical to the mother plant then eventually you gonna have very low bio diversity and weakness to diseases and such, its only as a last resort. And yea I agree something doesn't feel right about em.
