As Crosscut suggested the culprit might be a beaver or some other small prick. All this time I've been fighting the wrong enemy. They've been completely peelin the bark right off the plants, surprised they're still standing. Welcome to the great outdoors I guess eh? Grow_Wizzard - Thanks for the props. Lol...I think I might have to take up hunting. Or can you buy land mines in Canada? Crosscut - I think you've hit the nail on the head. I'm picking up a hunting camera, so hopefully I can catch the bastards in the act. enough - Liquid fence, where can you find the stuff? Seems like nothing is stopping these things though. caknuckles Enthusiast Registered: 03/15/09 Posts: 227 Loc: Ontario, Canada	Nothins been working folks. So I rapped the stems and lower branches of the plants in chicken wire. Not exactly incognito but lets see them eat through that. Nobody is messing around in this swamp so it shouldn't be too big a tell. Well I'm pretty disappointed with the outcome this year. A lot of hard work and probably little to show for it, but learned tonnes and will be back for round two next year. Here is some shots of a Mango that made a decent comeback. The LST seemed to help.
