I'm pretty happy that my partner and I still have jobs. And we still have jobs because action was taken to shore up the commercial credit market. And the commercial credit issues required dramatic action. Regardless of whether it was Barney Frank or Dick Cheney, the country was fucked and extreme measures were necessary. There are still problems, but the market is stabilizing. If you or anyone else thinks that McCain/Palin would have done things differently and had similar or better results, you're blinded by hostility. The only way McCain/Palin would have yielded the current market results would have been to spend as much if not more. Which would have been fine for the ignorati populating the bulk of the country, after all, it's okay when a white guy steals from you.

Anyone who voted in a democrat with a democratic congress who didn't expect TAX and SPEND policy is wasting their time in here. Work to eliminate the problem, and the problem is CAREER politicians in the House and Senate. You should spend more time exposing fucktards like John Mc Cain, Liebermann, John Conyers, Carl Levin. Those are the ones with their hands on the PURSE STRINGS. In other words for those who are slow.

President can't sign a budget that congress hasn't approved. President can't sign a law that congress doesn't create, and pass through both houses. President can't do anything if the House and Senate don't pass a budget bill or any other bill, except beg, cry and whine. Or start a war.
